Great Truck for the price
I bought this truck a little over 3 years ago now and overall it has exceeded my expectations in all aspects. I bought the Pro4x brand new for $28,400 just $400 more than the SV model and I am glad I did. I have used every feature on the vehicle and have had no problems. As of now I do not tow anything regularly, I have towed up to 9000 lbs without any problems at all. I have never gotten stuck in snow/mud and I have definitely put it to the test. The locking rear in 4 low will go through anything. I have put this truck up against many other comparable models and it has out performed time and time again.
2012 Titan SL Heavy Duty Chrome Packagr
Let me start by saying if the crew cab Dodge would not have been such a jump in price from the quad cab I would probably be driving a Dodge right now, or an overall high priced Tundra. However I had a great salesman who talked me into giving my truck a drive. After owning it for half a year here are my Pro's and Cons: Pro's: great handling Interior room is out of this world Superior handling to any truck that I test drove even the 2016's Easy to see out of the drivers and side window for the most part The Rockford Phosgate stereo is good for a "base model" stereo the slide rail in the bed are 2nd to none Super aftermarket parts that are easy to install Did I mention the room, handling, and storage Easy to use controls, and easily reachable Cons: Braking especially when needing to stop suddenly and moving over 20mph Horrible MPG, I average 15.8 at best and 90% of my driving is highway (in comparison my 2005 Dodge got 19.8 mpg with 200k on it) Bushings squeak in steering column especially when cold Slight squeaks from the front suspension (every Nissan I've owned has had this)

Back again with another Titan
Owned a 2004 Titan (first year), and never regretted my decision. It was dependable, and Nissan fixed the warped brake rotors right away, and the truck ran like a champ for 6 years until getting rammed by another driver. I feel this truck is underappreciated and think it's a solid contender and has become a bargain. You ought to consider this truck if you need a large general purpose pickup. My 2011 silver one feels familiar, has tons of mass and power, and still roars with its exhaust, but is solid, comfortable, and big enough for anybody.
Great truck.
I bought my new 2012 S.L model on 2013, that means the truck sat for a while before it was sold. My model came with navigation, DVD, moonroof etc something some of the other models don't have. So far the truck has been reliable and has only been to the dealership for regular maintainance. It's very spacious, comfortable and drives like a car. It can be used to haul lots of stuff and also acts like a family truck. The only drawback is the gas mileage.

wrath of the titans!!!
I just love my Titan, 2012 PRO-4X Galaxy Black CC all the bells and whistles. This is my second Titan. The truck is dependable, reliable, and to mention a good looking truck. yeah Nissan has not changed the body style in awhile. Who really cares, they probably was testing out to see who there "reliable customers" are for such an outstanding truck. And there is no truck or "vehicle" out there that is perfect! But my belief is that Nissan knows a few things about vehicles and know what they are doing. If you are reading this please believe me you will be very please once you test drive one, because after you test drive it you will take it home.
Love my Titan
The 2012 Titan is a very reliable vehicle with a strong engine. The 5.6 V8 is awesome. I bought this in 2020 with 100,000 miles. So far I’m loving it

Reliability of My Nissan
I purchased the Nissan titian in 2005 and I wanted to review to let other people know that this is a solid truck. I did regular oil changes every 3000 mile since they were free for life as long as I own the truck What a great deal right. I owned it for 11 years never had one issue with this truck other then putting in one new battery. My family are lake people so we pull our 26 foot tritoon from Kansas city to lake of the Ozarks Mo. about 10 to 15 times each summer Which is about 165 mile one way. The truck handles it with no issues still have plenty of power but braking with this heavy load is OK could be better. I did sell the truck last week because I wanted the new Titian what a awesome truck this will probably be my last truck if the new one is as great as my last one. I will miss not having a truck payment but I am pleased so far with the new titian. I have owned at one time all of the big three brand trucks and would but the titian up against them any day.

Great truck since day 1!!
This has been a work truck and a tow vehicle, and has performed extremely well since I bought it new in 2012. Best truck I've ever owned, and I've owned many.

Great city truck!
This is what I would call a great city truck. The interior features are comfortable and amazing and it has good capacity for doing small hauls. Plenty of acceleration but unfortunately eats gas like it was starving. I haven't had a single problem with the truck in 11 months since purchase, but I do not do a lot of heavy duty work with it. Most of the time I am hauling a trailer with Lawn equipment or similar light items over short distances.
bad truck
I bought a 2011 Nissan Titan sv and since day one its been in and out of the shop 6 months out of 11 months that I have had the truck nothing but problems they changed the ecu and wiring harness it still was doing the same thing then they found out that it has a miss fire in the number 2 cylinder, they did the heads gasket twice each time it got worse, then they sent out the head for the values to be replaced. Then they found out it was the motor. As of 7/8/2016 they are putting in a new motor so we will see if and when I get my truck back. I have lost money and jobs because of this. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT GOING TO PEORIA NISSAN IN ARIZONA. They sold me a lemon. Oh and by the way Peoria Nissan told me my truck was fine every time I brought it in so I finally took it to Avondale Nissan to have them look at and there it seat getting fixed. Thanks for selling me a bad truck Nissan Rodney S.

11 years and no problems 144k
Pro 4x-Been in the family since new. No problems, lots of power. Plush leather seats and with michelin tires is the best riding truck we have ever had, full steel body and frame helps! Brakes need replacement kinda quick 20kish. Gets 14.3 mpg. Original everything else.

Great truck
For a 5.6 the truck pretty muscly. Good acceleration. The drivetrain/ride is pretty smooth like all Nissans tend to be, a level of civilized smoothness. I like the fold up seats in the crew cab back, which by the way are far more comfortable than Ford's and others. I tended to put tools and groceries inside the cab with the seats folded up. I like the looks of the truck too. Toyota had a great thing with the Tundra before it went panda looking, I think the Chevy Silverado has it in the good looks department but the Titan looks aggressive and cool. I think the Titan bed is a little cheap though--seems plastic liner covers places where there isn't sheet metal underneath which I didn't lik

Ok but not great
I bought a new 2012 Nissan Titan Pro-4x and have been moderately satisfied with it. The fit and finish of the interior is acceptable but there is a lot of hard plastic used. The infotainment system is hot garbage, why install Bluetooth if it will not let you play music through it? The fuel mileage is atrocious (13 mpg at 75 mph without a tow load). The engine gives decent acceleration but is severely lacking in towing capability. I occasionally tow a 6k travel trailer (truck is rated to 9200lbs) and the truck does ok on straight even roads but hills will slow the truck down considerably (from 65 mph down to 25 mph with the pedal to the medal). Anyway, at 7yrs old with only 55k miles on it, I just spent $1300 replacing a bad serpentine belt, hydraulic tensioner, all of the belt pulleys, an alternator and power steering pump. A vehicle with that kind of low mileage should not be experiencing those kinds of failures. Not to mention the 5-6 times the truck has been In the shop because of a leaking heater coil (oily film on the inside of the windshield). The truck is an "ok" vehicle if you don't want to tow with it or drive on the interstate much (14mpg city, 13mpg highway ?!?). Next time I'll get a 3/4 or 1 ton diesel, more power and capability with better fuel economy.

poor quality
After many trips to the dealer for a/c defrost repairs still not fixed. Sun roof works on and off would not recommend buy this truck way to many problems. To many to list
Great truck for driving
Its a great truck for everyday driving. The only issues are the blind spots. 1 - is the width of the pillars, they're big enough that if someone is crossing the street at an intersection you will not see them if they are in the street at that particular angle where the pillars are. 2 - is the blind spot on the rear passenger pillar, small cars, motorcycles, and bicycles are hard to see if they happen to be driving in that spot. 3 - If you have lower back issues, such as degenerative disc, then sitting in the vehicle for longer than 30 minutes will cause your back muscles to stiffen up. Your back will eventually loosen up. But, if you have sciatica, your back muscles tightening up will cause pressure on your back discs, causing the sciatic nerve to flare up. Haven't found a good adjustment for the seat and still be able to drive. For the original price of the vehicle, they could have had the navigation system, bluetooth for other devices to connect to the radio system (other than just for phone calls), usb instead of mini rca to connect to the radio, and rear a/c heat controls for the back passengers.

Don't Buy It
I bought this pickup new in December 2010. I needed a tough truck to work out of on my farm. What could be tougher than a Nissan PRO4X super duper four wheel drive? Now 8 months and 22,000 miles later the front end suspension cratered and the dealership refuses to fix it under warranty. Nissan will not stand behind their product. Also had issues with interior and radiator mounts. I know of three 2011 Titans bought in our small town. One has already traded for Chevy, another hates his pickup, and I will trade as soon as possible. No trade in value makes it hard though. It lost more than $12,000 in value in 8 months. Yikes
