Great gas milaege!
If I drive in the ECO mode, I easily get 45 mpg and trying hard can get 50 mpg in normal Boston area commuting. In normal mode I get 42 mpg. The sport mode is fun. I understand why each Nissan dealer I spoke with when I was shopping stated that the mpg rating was far too low. The manual rating is 36 highway and lower combined. This is a ridiculously low rating. The handling is a little soft, but the tires are for high mpg. The braking and acceleration is really good.
Love my Sentra!
I leased my Sentra at the end of July and love it! I turned in 2010 Sentra I had, and do love this car more. My only complaint is the size of the center console, the 2010 model was much bigger which I loved. I love the LED accent lights inside and out. I am averaging about 35 MPG and my commute to work is only about 10 minutes mainly highway. The engine is extremely quiet, and love both the ECO and Sport features. I have the Black with Charcoal interior. Inside is easy to keep clean too. The leg room in both the back and front is roomy compared to my old Sentra. Would recommend!
Death Trap.
I purchased a 2013 Nissan Sentra from Lewis Nissan. It currently has 127,532 miles on it and this is the 3rd transmission so far. She paid for the last 2. The transmission is going out again.....the dealership and Nissan has told her there is nothing wrong with it because it is not giving them a code. PLEASE DO NO BUY ANYTHING WITH THEIR CVT TRASNMISSION IT IT!!! It is a death trap we can not trade off or sell. You will be driving it down the interstate at 70 MPH and it just stops pulling, luckily she has not caused an accident yet or worse. Our only option is to keep handing the dealership $4000 each time they replace the transmission. The dealership is not the least bit helpful, not even a loaner car. Dangerous products, tons of complaints on the CVT, contacted Nissan got told their is nothing they can do to fix their faulty product.

2013 Nissan Sentra beware
Bought a certified pre owned 2013 Nissan in oct 2016 , within a month check engine light came on , it has been back to the dealer every month since then , my car has no power going up a hill , when at a red light the vibration is beyond anything I have ever experience before , and the noise coming from the engine , and every time I take it in I am told this is the way the car rides , very dissaponted in Nissan for not fixing the issue , I have read hundreds of reviews and everything I am experiencing leads to the transmission slipping . I think I'm going to have to get a lawyer
