NOOOO Very Disappointing, Loud, Cheaply Made

I don’t know where to begin w/this 1..I am heavily disappointed, underwhelmed, frustrated, and honestly a bit angry! I want my little blue 2017 VW Passat GTI back! My VW was 10xs the vehicle that this Nissan is, it was fast, extremely quiet, comfortable, had an amazing sound system and drove/performed like a dream compared to this brand new 2023 Nissan Rogue Midnight Edition (top of the line for this model), i cannot believe I bought this piece of cheap crap for $37k and will be paying $600 a month for the next 5 yrs on a vehicle that I truly cannot stand! I did test drive a different model, which now makes sense since that 1 was probably the quieter one, and seemed more comfortable and quicker?! I just didn’t do my research and didn’t compare to other SUVS in the same price range, size, trim, etc. Cause I think if I would have been shown other options I pretty much would have gone with any other brand! As I was driving this thing home I realized the CONS of this SUV very quickly and felt a very sick, awful feeling in my stomach that I had just bought a hunk of junk! An ugly, uninspiring, cheaply designed and the absolute worst accessories possible! The touch screen lcd monitor graphics are so poor and ugly, the stereo is stock, so very unimpressive, the engine is loud, it shifts weird, and the lane departure assist is sooooooo annoying! The roads around here are super skinny, and I typically ride the outer line, and the car keeps pulling to the left like it thinks I am going off the road. So scary, dangerous and terrifying. Apparently it sees the white line and pulls, cause I don’t ever go over it. My VW had the same option and never pulled like that. It would give a warning, if I was truly over the lines of the lane. The pulling could def cause an accident cause it is so unexpected and jarring. I literally jump everytime it does that. Also, I bought this thing for $37k and after researching it’s value or MSRP is at most $32k, so my VW trade in, they got it free pretty much! My VW only had 40k miles on it, was quick, comfortable, sporty, had an amazing sound system and attractive look. I really want to rewind time and go back to having my cute little blue VW! I am usually so excited and happy with my car purchases, but not this 1! I am left wondering why I was even considering this ugly thing. The headlights are not even in the right location! And they are tiny sliver like headlights. And I am so blind. I try to focus on the pros of this vehicle so I can sleep and eat, but there are so few. It’s roomy, it’s got a comfy driver seat, (not as comfy as my VW), it’s got a good safety rating, and hmmmm I was told it got 40 Mi to the gallon of fuel but it’s already down to 1/2 tank and I have only driven it 100mi. My VW blows this thing away with fuel efficiency. I can’t express how very disappointed I am with this whole deal, I feel so very sad and really just want my VW back. Or a different brand vehicle. Sorry Nissan but this Rogue is a bust it is a car to avoid for sure!

Great car sans the gas smell

Traded in my 2013 Rav 4 for a 2023 rogue sv. The interior is much nicer. Smoother lines and more high touch finishing overall. Average fuel economy to date is about 7.6 litre /100km.. Only gripe is the smell of gasoline in cabin after turning off and going back in car shortly after I read it's a quick fix though by just replacing fuel line Nissan will or should cover repair. Not a big deal I just put HVAC on circ.until smell leaves after a min or so Windshield wiper fluid also drips off wiper instead of squirting like most cars.

Compared to Toyota RAV4, Mazda CX series, Ford Escape, the Nissan is a hands down winner of this buyer!
