2024 kicks sr premium
4500 miles so far on this car, it's got an amazing amount of tech in it, the bose stereo sounds awesome, gas milage is above the rating on average im 39mpg , seats are comfy and are heated, roomy with lots of cargo area in the back ! I feel you get a real lot of features for the money. The only complaint if I had to give one is I would have liked to see more soft touch materials on doors and dash

Dead in under 5000 kms
Run away from the Kicks and Nissan in general. I would give this car zero stars if possible. And Nissan Canada Customer Care people are liars reading off of script. It's not customer care. It's customer DONT CARE. Bought a brand new 2024 Kicks. It has only 5000 kms on it. It completely died on the side of the road. I suddenly lost power, car coasted to a stop. I called Nissan McPhillips the dealership where I bought the car. A tow truck picked up the car after 4 hours of freezing while waiting. This was on February 13th. On the 18th the dealership called me and said the alternator was gone and coincidentally the valve body assembly was blowing oil out all over the engine. They said it was good that the alternator had gone because otherwise the whole motor would've blown up. They then told me it would be 2 to 4 weeks wait for parts. After 2 weeks I called them and they said they were still waiting for the valve body assembly. I called them again on March 12th and was told still no.parts. I called Nissan Canada and they returned my call on March 13th. They said eta on the part was March 19th then it would be 2 to 3 days for the part to reach the dealership. They claimed they would email me with an update on or before the 19th. On the 20th I called customer care again since they didn't call me back. They told me part eta was now changed to April 1st. I spoke to the same person. He claimed he didn't update me because it takes 2 to 3 days to check the status of the part. I asked where the part was being sourced from. He didn't know....how can you know the eta of a part when you don't even know where it's shipping from. I asked to speak to his manager. He refused. He said they were unable to escalate my problem at this time. So...I bought a brand new car so I would have a reliable vehicle. It is now sitting dead at a dealership for 6 weeks and I'm told it's going to be at least 2 more weeks until the part comes in. By my experience so far it will likely not be here by April 1st. That day will come.and go. Then they will again extend the expected arrival date like they have been doing for the past 6 weeks. To summarize. I have a brand new car that is sitting dead at a dealership. I am making payments on this car. I am paying for insurance on this car. And I can't drive it. I have no idea when parts will come in since they have changed the motor on this car for 2025. And, the people at Nissan Canada donr seem to know where the parts even come from. Don't buy a Nissan. I bought both this Kicks and a Rogue in 2024. They have both been a nightmare but that's a whole other story....

Over all good vehicle
I own a 2024 Nissan Kicks, I love my car but the only issue is for no reason the back window shattered sitting in my driveway backed in towards my privacy fence. The dealer fixed it but now I'm worried it will happen again. Has anyone else had an issue with their windows just shattering?

Not for road trips
I just bought a 2024 Kucks. It had 700 miles on the engine when I took it on a 300 round trip drive up to Taos. I live in Albuquerque so this was a 3000 mile elevated drive uphill. Within the first 50 miles, the car really needed to be coaxed to get up to 80 mph and stay at that speed. I also heard the transmission shift and shift and shift trying to find the right gear. This car kept up this performance throughout the trip. It is no better doing small around town drives on level surfaces. My little Kia Soul never had this issue. It loved going fast. If this car continues acting this way, I will be trading it soon.
