At 60 years old I've owned and driven many new cars. Driving the cube is like sitting in a chair at home looking out a window. It's so easy to get in and out of and very roomy. The 6 speed is smooth and makes the car feel like it has more then 122 HP. The engine in this car idles so smooth and quiet you have to look at the tach to make sure it's still running. Much less wind noise at highway speeds than I expected from a square car, ride's much smoother than I expected as well. Has more standard features than you usually find in an entry level car. Takes a little getting used to the absence of road feel (feedback).

less than a month of buying my Cube I hear of recalls tire sensor nuts (defective in cold weather) rear door handles need replacing according to a recall listed on the internet, rear brake drums defective recall, steering sensor gone bad on some Cubes, warning lights going off for no reason, I am sure the list will grow in the next few months and hopefully there will not be any fatal accidents due to defective parts from Japan. Makes me think the USA is involved in parts. Better yet why didn't Japan test the parts before exporting the Cubes. Are the ones in Japan also getting recalls?

We bought this car new in 2010 as a left over 2009 and it's been a great little car. Never been in the shop once for a repair, none of the cvt troubles or anything. My daughter has been driving this car to college for a year now 107000 miles and never been to the shop for a repair. Before giving to my daughter we replaced the shocks, tires and brakes, not that they were bad but wanted her to have stopping and steering as good as possible . Still a nice looking car, interior still looks like new and outside shines and looks good. Not a bad thing to say about this car.

My husband finally had to give up his Nissan Frontier for commuting (265,000 miles on it). We started looking at other Nissan's, even a Pathfinder, when we saw the Cube sitting on the lot. I begged him to test drive it, he got out and said, "Let's do it." He's been like a kid in a candy shop ever since!! Every day he finds something new he likes about it. It's a lot of fun.

Well-thought design

We were seriously considering the Scion xB for over a year, but when the Cube came out, decided to give it a try, as well as the Kia Soul. We disliked the new body style of the Scion, as it made it look like a pint-sized Dodge Caravan, and we were unimpressed by the cheap feel and horrendous road noise of the Kia. The Cube was perfect for us. It seats ample-sized adults easily, with loads of head and legroom. The reclining/sliding rear seats are a great feature as well. We love the quirky styling, and we are stopped by strangers frequently who want to know more about the car. It handles well and is incredibly maneuverable! This car is more fun to drive than the '71 Beetle I had in college!
