Used 2017 Nissan Altima Sedan Consumer Reviews
Love my Altima (still)
Great alternative to the more expensive Honda and Toyota. Got everything I wanted and more for about $5,000 less than other brands. Not thrilled with my Dodge, GMC or Chevy and my Kia and Ford's were OK, but I love this car. How will I feel in 75,000 miles???? That will be the true test. UPDATE: Still love this car! However, door locks were VERY poorly designed. No way to tell if locked or not. Can't tell whether it's locked or unlocked as the button is so small, black and tucked under the door handle. Dealer was awesome and kept EVERY promise and more. Even when they messed up on the sales tax, they paid it all (which is why when replace our Fusion it will be from BILL WALSH). Wish they were a Nissan dealer as I think Honda and Toyota are over priced for the same quality we got with our low mileage Nissan. Gas mileage is awesome at 30-35 mpg. Jury is still out on the transmission. Read lots of horror stories about tranny failures at 30-40000 miles but we are past that. Acceleration takes getting used to unless you ride snowmobiles a lot like we do. Speaking of which, I'd get Uniroyal Tiger Paws for a winter tire for this car. OEM tires are good until about 5 degrees. Car sits low to ground so getting stuck can be easy, but you can say that about any car this size. All-in-all, depending on how long the transmission lasts, I'd say I would buy this car again in a New York minute. UPDATE 2: Has developed a buzzing noise which is driving me crazy and can't find what's wrong. Also, ranked down on safety as daughter backed into a car which would not have happened with our other cars as they have an alarm when about to back into something while the Nissan does not. But we still love this car. Buzzing sound is still driving us crazy. Mileage is getting up there. LOVE the heated seats and steering wheel. Still wish camara came with warning pings.

Altima for making ultimate memories!!
CPO Nissan Altima 2017 used by a female software engineer and mainly used for office shuttle, made road trips to Yosemite, SoCal. Had the best driving experience. New battery good to go for another 60K miles easily. Exterior are waxed and water repellent wind screen. I have been a Nissan fan and this as my first car in USA stood up to my expectations giving every time a comfort ride. If not moving out of country then I would still want to keep this car!!

Brakes are awful
I bought my car brand new and it’s been a headache since I bought the piece of shyt. The car does not hold any value and the brakes screk a lot I’ve replaced them 3 times in 1 year. I will never buy another Altima again.

Nissan center caps on tires
I do love my 2017 Nissan Altima. My only problem is the center Nissan caps on the tires. I replaced 2 abs now another one is missing. These are not cheap and I don’t want to keep replacing these things nor do I want my car to be missing the cap. The company doesn’t want to absorb any of the cost ir give a discount. Anyone else having this problem?
What an awesome car! I'm in love!
I am a Nissan girl. I have had 3 Maximas and was a little hesitant moving to the Altima. I was not disappointed at all, in fact I was greatly surprised with hjow much I love this car. It has just about everything my old Maxima had! Plus some extra stuff I didn't have!
