Looks good parked next to our 1978 280z

The car overall is wonderful. The only problems so far are that the seats are made for smaller/thinner people. If you are larger, they may not be comfortable. The access for a "lighter" style battery connection is up under the passenger side console. Not very convenient for plugging in cell phones, etc. The back cargo area is very limited. Our small dog's crate will not fit in there so we can't use the car for traveling. The blind spot in the rear quarter panels on both sides is bad and I have almost changed lanes on top of people twice. Limited rear view. As an every day driver though, it is fun and really turns heads. This is our 3rd Z car and we still have our original, a 1978 280 2 door

I purchased this car at 80 miles last week and I already have 800 miles on it. It's such a blast to drive it. People pull up next to me while driving and ask questions about it. I have no problem with the seats(mine's leather) and the bose system is awesome. The music does not distort at all even at the highest setting. I've reached speeds up to 120+ mph easy. The manual transmission is really tight and close. It can jump off the line with no problem. The trunk can fit at least 2 mid sized suit cases. The two problems I found though is that there is a blind spot behind you and when the sun is shining directly on the fuel gauge you can't see it at all. Other than that I highly recommend it

370Z is a dream come true

I purchased this vehicle after 6 months of research. I got the sport package which I would recommend due to styling cues and the great rims. I previously owned a 06 350Z. The new design of this vehicle is so much better that the 350Z. The intelligent key is amazing. I recommend reading the owners manual to uncover some great features. The key can roll the windows up and down, but the intelligent key can only roll the windows down. Cruise control is now standard and the syncro-rev works perfectly. It also helps with a smoother upshift. I can not drive any where with out people straining to look. Road noise is acceptable and the ride is smooth for a true sports

I traded in my 2005 BMW 330CI with the sport pkg and sequential manual tranny. It was a quality vehicle and fun to drive. I test drove the 370 Z and felt it was more me than the BMW. It looks great, (turns heads)has rapid acceleration, shifts easily, and corners like it is on rails. I,m 5'11" and weigh 170. The seats are comfy, head room is ample and leg room is good. I now have over 1200 miles on the car (mfr's break in period)and engine and tranny feel much better. I live in East Texas and the temp has been in the mid 90's and low 100's since I've had the Z. 240 degrees is the highest the engine oil has gotten. The Z engine is noisy but seems quieter as it breaks in.

As a previous owner of the 350Z I feel as they have completely refined an already amazing ride. Exhilarating performance, exceptional handling, everyday driving comfort ability, and sleek styling, for which pictures do no justice, to this Porsche like appearance and feel for a car that was only $30,000 with a sports package.

So it came down this car and the '10 Camaro. Got to test drive the Z. Got to sit in the Camaro. Advantage Z. My initial concerns about this car were the "snugness" of the interior, and the extensive road noise. The test drive alleviated both concerns. The ride was comfortable, even for a former 5'10" 237lb football player. The road noise was acceptable. I for one like to hear the engine while I drive. It makes me feel more in-tune with the car. This car is absolutely gorgeous and it's performance is off the charts. It has a very linear torque curve which produces "right now" acceleration no matter the speed or gear you are in. The sync-rev really makes working the gears a joy!

I owned 72 240Z and my wife had a 280ZX. I have several similar cars over the years. When I first drove 370Z I was reminded powerfully of my 240. This is a drivers car. You don't step into it but instead you wear it. You feel the road in your hands and the seat of your pants. You hear the roar of the road and judge it's condition from the sound. The sport package makes the handling even more precise. The car seems to go where you want it too by thought control. This car demands your full attention but you are rewarded with an exciting driving experience that makes any trip even the daily commute fun. If you want a 2-seater sports car the Nissan 370Z deserves your serious consideration.

This is a super fun to drive sports car! Ours has 20" wheels and tires, which helps with handling and performance. Platinum graphite paint job - WOW! This car turns heads! The interior is plenty roomy for me, great sound from the Bose stereo, fairly smooth ride for such a small car. This is a great sports car, at a great price. I thought I loved my last car, a 2000 Toyota Celica GT-S. The Nissan 370Z is a million times better! I won't complain about the gas mpg, it's a fair trade off if you want a higher performance car. This car isn't for you if you want a family car, or SUV. But if you want a true sports car - this is it!

A true sports car. I've owned a couple Corvettes and Z28's but none tracked as straight and true as this car. Steering is tight but confident and nothing matches the brakes of the Z car! Ride quality is stiff for the Sport model, but one certainly does not wallow in the seat through turns. Interior layout and quality are excellent. Love the no-key ignition and locking system. In late summer temps of 80's to low 90's and running air conditioning, oil temp gauge never went above 240! By eliminating Styrofoam filler behind seats where Touring models add speakers...1 1/2 cu. feet of more cargo space was found. Amazing how much stuff can be loaded in this small car! Agree with Oldguy-soft paint!

Black on black. Fantastic looks in and out. Very fast, comfortable ride. Handling fanatstic. No problem with noise as I have the 18 inch wheels. Never even noticed. Interior wraps around you and makes you feel part of the machine. Cozy yet roomy. Love the creases on the hood from inside. Seat comfort good and grows on you till you love it. Have to wait till Spring to drive it again. Cannot stand the wait but the anticipation is fanatastic. Best car Ive ever owned.

Everything is kinda okay but also not great even back in the 2000s. Pro: buying one in 2023 is cheap, even a good condition first gen miata is almost as pricey. Okay-ish performance, good aftermarket supports, it is a little more reliable than similar cars that made in america and germany. Con: nothing is overly exciting, cars with less hp can outperform the Z easily(frs/86/brz,miata,civic si/r), you need quite some upgrades before hitting the track(oil cooler, brakes, lsd, etc), driving one isn’t as inspiring, heavier car is slower, wears faster and taking more fuel.

Came back from vacation and went directly to the dealership. I purchased the car Jan 5th 2009 and I've been loving it ever since. I was told I was the first in Florida and one of the youngest at only 18. The driving and pick up is amazing, and the look just makes it all the greater car. I highly suggest the purchase of this car.

I was driving a Cayman S and the Z car is a totally different animal. I know they are suppose to be competitors but the Cayman is much more comfortable and feels like the precision Porsche Euro sports car that it is and the Z car feels like a cramped Japanese sports car which it is. No comparison but I just wanted to try the Z car for a year or two but im going back to the Cayman S next time. Dollar for dollar the Z is a good value though and if you arent 6-1 like me its probably a better value . A smaller person might not feel as cramped as I do. I just fit in Euro cars better. Acceleration was ok but the Cayman S just feels more exhilarating for some reason.

Only Negatives

I only want to comment about negatives aspects of the car because there are too many positives. First, Nissan needs to fix the dull looking fuel guage. Also, the guages are very hard to see in the sun light. Second, and PLEASE NISSAN, LISTEN TO ME ON THIS! PLEASE have an option to display the SPEEDOMETER DIGITALLY. I can't tell you how much easier it is to have a digital display. If not replace the traditonal needle with the digital display, at least give us an option to show it with a multifunction display inside the speedometer, like Honda and Mercedes-Benz has done! Fix some blind spots and the rear visibility, but I guess that might take away from the exterior beauty of the car.
