Best vehicle I ever owned

I purchased my 2017 Mirage GT for $6,000 with 8,000 miles on it in February of 2018. Coming up on almost 6 years and 52,000 miles of ownership I will say I have not had any issues at all with this vehicle! I will say the build is of cheaper materials, to be expected from a vehicle starting at around $12k back in 2017. At 46,000 miles I replaced the original tires, Brakes, battery, and everything else is still original. Transmission flush done at 35,000 miles (Im cautious due to the bad reputation of CVTs). this car is an excellent commuter. I Average 37 MPG and 45 on the freeway on long drives, get it filled up less than 2 times a month for $30 even with these gas pricesI Car takes 2.7 quarts of oil. you can change your own oil and do your own maintenance for under $15 an oil change! Apple carplay heated seats, Fast key system push button start and rear view camera are a selling point for this vehicle and everything is holding up exceptionally well! If you need a first vehicle, or reliable car for first time drivers especially with the 10 year 100k miles warranty I wouldnt hesitate to buy another. I fell in love with mitsubishis bang for the buck, even bought a 2018 outlander for the family one year after owning the mirage. I would recommend. Yes its small, Yes its not a race car, Yes its cheaper build quality, But it has a/c many creature comforts, still keeps up in traffic, returns excellent gas mileage costs pennies to maintain, and does it all reliably. Need I go on? If you find one of these in today market for under 6k with low miles, just buy it. Thanks!

cute little car for a circus, it is larger than i thought inside (kinda)it has ABSOLUTLY NO POWER!!! looking at this for my daughter i would consider this dangerous car for her on the highway .acceleration is none. Cant get out of its own way and that due to a "3 cylinder " engine. Sacrificed safety for gas mileage..

Long trip agony

Rented this car for two weeks. It was the worse car driving experience I've ever had. The car felt unstaple, going around curves I had to really hold the steering wheel tight for control. Cracks in the road would sometimes cause the to skirt to one side. Going up hill, it would make it but it growled all the way, you knew it was stranding. On long distance trips, say 77 miles, by the time you reached your destination, I would be drained. It is not a pleasant driving car.

The car for me right now

My 2000 Durango finally broke down to the point where fixing it would be the same price as the money down for the mirage. It's a car, it has a radio and CD player, and heat and a/c, what else do you need in a car. Praying for not too much snow this winter as winter driving is the only thing that scares me. I'm not a bot, I'm not a Mitsubishi fanboy, although I always wanted a 3000 gt when I was younger. The car will get you to work, school, the store, wherever you want to go. The fact that there's some riding lawnmower with more horsepower is funny but right now, for the money I have to spend this is the car for me. I'll update after a snow drive to see if it can stay in the road. Take care
