A long look a Quality
In 1995 I bought a brand new Towncar.... It had everything... Move over Towncar there is a new kid in town... I just bought a Grand marquise 1999 LS ... All I can say is wow... It has more feature than the towncar had and I bought the car with 11000 miles on it... It still smells new...... I have been searching for this car and now I have it.. Very happy
Lots of fuel pumps
My car has slightly over 36,000 miles on it. I just had to replace the fuel pump for the second time, imagine with only slightly over 36,000 miles. I am 76 years old, I had to have my car towed yesterday in 90 degree heat. It cost me over $540 for a stinking fuel pump for the second time. I have contacted Mercury via phone, both the 800-521-4140 number and the number you get when you join their user club or whatever it is. They won't do a thing, they won't let you talk to anyone who can make a valid decision. You get to talk to phone-flunkies answering flunkies and that is it. Some support, I have owned my last Mercury.
To learn value of present vehicle
Car owned by senior female, ( kept in garage) and in pristine condition. My concern is depreciation because of age, not condition of vehicle. Convenience of entering the vehicle, room, trunk space, comfort, ease of driving and service are the reasons I have chosen a Mercury LS for my last 3 cars. Safety, of course, is also a major issue. I like the rear-wheel drive feature.
my mercury marquis
this vehicle is everthing I expected it to be, my father in law has had 2 and I always felt like I would appreciate the car so when a one owner, always garage kept came available, I bought the car. It has been every thing I thought it would be, extremly comfortable with plenty of room and power. I will definetly buy another one. I have always owned Park Avenues and Buick Electras but I am sold on the Grand Marquis.
My review of the Grand Marquis
This vehicle is comfortable and reliable. Especially good on trips on the interstate highways.
