New E350 Cabriolet 5 Jul. Have been on short trip of 230 mi. Car rides as smooth as 2010 E350 Sport Sedan; maybe because of different suspension. To early to rate mpg but seems to be above rating - I have replaced air filters w/K&N air filters - made big difference on sedan. So far car is solid for a convertible (more so than previous 09 CLK; trunk above adequate w/top down. Performance typical of 350 series. Only negative comment, when p/u'd car the Sirius component of radio not working. Have to order a new module. Isn't this something that should have been caught @ inspection. Had some QC issues on 10 E350 Sedan. Overall, terrific so far.

We needed all wheel drive, sedan, cush options, and enough "go" to keep us both interested. The E550 has it all, and is a blast to drive! Maintenance is a little pricier than other Luxury brands. It's solid and stately, as my last 4 M-B's were. Truly a great automobile.

Bought this used from a private seller. 50,000 miles. No scratches, chips etc…perfect paint. Replaced both low beam bulbs. Cruise control is so easy to use unlike my wife’s lexus. The MB handles better than my BMW 3 series and is quieter, more comfortable than the Lexus RX 350. 24+ mpg on the highway. Spirited acceleration but not a sports car. I’m retired and enjoying it! I didn’t drive the car during the winter. She’s now back on the road and I’m still smiling. Update 10/5/25…now have 68,000 miles. Absolutely no issues but it’s due for servicing

Emissions system had recalled, fixed 12years later

When I purchased my car I was pleased for a while, until the engine light started turning on all the time. Emissions Sensors were very bad and I had them replaced (4x 2.5K) in 2 years. Even with this huge uncommon expenses I was okay because everyone I know says that mercedes is an expensive car to maintain... well, in 10 years I spent close to 25K and after having the emissions system replaced I could really feel the power of the engine (12 years later). Not sure if I was dumb for keeping the car for such a long time or just unlucky... anyway, I am relieved I traded it in and got a new car from another make. I DO NOT recommend a MB to an enemy much less to a friend.

This vehicle replaces our 2008 E320 Blue-Tec and what an improvement. Mercedes has made great improvements in cabin design and layout, improved the voice command control and greatly improved the navigation and radio manual controls. To top it off we're getting 38 to 40 mpg for combined city/highway driving (much better than EPA estimates and better than our 2008) and there's more than enough power to pass anything on the highway. This is a really great vehicle.

Picked her up with a 4 yrs warranty in MD with 76K and drove it back to Princeton, NJ up 95. As soon as I got on 95 I opened her up while looking for a station to listen to, did over 120mph, no issues. I beat a a few cars: Mustang 5.0 a few beemers and more. Now a yr later, I replaced a 10yr old starter, tires, couple oil changes, trans flush and reaching 97K, tires are next and some new rims for spring. Someone rear ended me in brooklyn NYC and he drove off, got that replaced (Benz recommended) I want to do a resonator delete on my muffler also. I replaced all the wood trim(chipping and rotted) with carbon fiber. She's a beast, best car, tough like a tank and OMGGGG so fast esp in sport manual mode. I need to remove the limiter and lower the suspension just a inch or so. #stuttgart #einspritz

Great performance, can keep up with modern BMWs and more. The comfort with the airmatic isn’t very noticeable but the adjustable aspect of the suspension is a nice feature to use occasionally. No problems with the car whatsoever besides the actual airmatic system which is known for faults (just do your maintenance people you’ll be fine). The interior could be better, hard plastic in visible areas as opposed to BMW and Audi of the same gen it’s lacking in modernization and mild quality but if anything just buy an S-Class. The presafe system as well as the adaptive cruise control and non visible aids make me confident I’ll come out in one piece if an accident were to even occur. The technology is good for the year. With the price you can get them for today I will say my purchase was completely worth it.

Brand New E-350 MB- DON'T Do IT!

I bought a brand new 4Matic E-350 Benz in JAN 2011. The car needs a transmission. I have been fighting with MB USA to just give me an even trade. I now see I paid TOO MUCH for it because they want me to take a $16K negitive equity. I'm very dissapointed in the customer service that I have received. I would never recommend anyone purchase an E calss or any other car from MB in Alex, VA. I needed a car with all wheel drive so I traded in my 2002 S-class for the 2011 E-class; BIG mistake. I went back the next day to get my car and they sold it. What does that say? All I want to remedy the situation is a fair trade in. They have offered to pay my notes for 2 months! NOT HAPPY.

Road noise got to me, steering lifelless and too light.Good dart if you floor it & wait for 1 sec, otherwise, tiring in both S & C mode. Daft ergonomics. Steering column gear shifter and foot parking brakes are MB signatures that should be killed in the 80s. Signal stalk should be where the cruise control stalk is. And the turning knob for wipers is so Chrysler/Ford. Thirsty. Dash designs looks like a cross btw a Honda/Camaro - cheap. Cheap also applies to rear air vent plastic housing. BMW/Audi beater it is not. Maybe will give a 300M run for the money. Oh, sorry, wrong price bracket. Nav system display & voice command out of sync and that lifting intonation at end of sentence - AARG

Have driven my new car for a few months now and I am not a fan of this car. The road noise is not blocked out by the body insulation. The various knobs and dials are from ten years ago as is the NAV system. Can't wait to get rid of this car.

We have had our E350 4Matic Sedan for 4 years now. After having several C Class Vehicles, wanted something with more room. Presently have over 80,000 miles on it. Always Dealer serviced. Still rides and drives like new. Highly recommend!

2011 car, 26k miles, over serviced due to minimal use. Oil dripped from the turbo onto the swirl motor cutting engine with no warning. A big job, so changed oil cooler seals too. All cooler seals leak, so changed at the same time.

I bought the car used w 70k miles on it, three common and major repairs- 1st air intake ($1200). 2d adblue heater ($1500), 3rd- oil seal leak $1200. Now have 150,000 miles on it and it drives like new after changing the motor mounts. Overall a nice car, built well, expensive repairs for the diesel system and engine- not like the old diesels

Bought a CPO E350 diesel with 30k miles in 2014. Loved the way the car drove and the fuel economy was wonderful. This car was fully loaded and a made road trips fun and relaxing. The engine, when working correctly could really pull the two ton car. I would only own this car with a Mercedes warranty. On to the bad part. The car was out of service for one month a year during my 5 years of ownership. The diesel engine and its adblue exhaust system were always on a self destruct cycle. The oil cooler seal was replaced twice. The fuel injectors were all replaced. New fuel pump and fuel system, two times. Failed timing chain, once. New motor mounts twice. At first, I was happy all of these trouble areas were fixed, but there are serious problems with this motor that cause these components to fail in component specific intervals. Adblue heater was replaced twice as well. Around 90k miles, some interior parts started to have issues. The volume knob was not very effective and the climate control back lights and switches worked intermittently. Fortunately, the car was under MB CPO warranty that did not have a ceiling on repairs. On my way to trade the car in, the check engine light illuminated, at that point I was ready to part with the car. If I knew the diesel would be such a nightmare, I would have purchased the gasoline engine.

Beautiful car; handles well. I have the "radar" package (Distronic) and it is worth every penny. Quality build. I would hope to write a review in a year to see if I am still as satisfied as I am now.
