The Greatest E class
I two weeks ago I traded in my 2006 E350 for the 2008 E350. The handling and engine sound are much improved and there is more aviable options and combinations. I got my E350 with dvd navigation, premium 2 pkg, ipod integration, electronic trunk closer, voice control, and keyless go. The color is Sienna Black metallic which reflects red but appears to be black and the sahara/beige interior ( very nice combination). It had a MSRP or 60,500 and had a sticker price lower than a E550. I am delighted.
LOVE IT!
I've had this car for 4 months now. I am still learning it's limits and so far they're beyond my abilities (which aren't bad) I have owned several performance vehicles, Cobra Mustangs, a Subaru STI to name 2. I never thought I'd own a car that I liked better than the STI and I was wrong. I had an extended rental with a '13 M5 with $30K in upgrades, claimed to have 720HP and this car performs as good as that one with a much better ride. The comfort and luxury doesn't seem like it goes with the speed and handling but I am getting used to it for sure. The manual shift isn't fast enough so I just leave it in automatic sport mode. I think the W211 still looks better than the last 2 generations of MB E class. I have a Toyota FJ as a daily driver that I love but I can't stay out of the E63 because it's so fun to drive. I just hope it can hold up to my level abuse because I drive it. NOTE: MY CAR IS NOT A WAGON. That was the only trim selection they allowed. It's a 4 door sedan.

not practical
Little disappointed with the car. I own a 2005 gs300 and that car shifts, rides and seems way better than this 60k e class. I was very disappointed. Burning smell coming from vents, car shifts strange, non-digital dual climate control, cheap interior, dash is not bright, no H.I.D headlights for 60k, Navigation is Not user friendly. Cruise control gets mistaken for turn signal. Too many unnecessary features. Does not ride as good as my 05 lexus.

Having a blast
I am enjoying the Mercedes experience with this car the ride and handle are second to none. The car design is well thought out as well as comfortable
2008 E350 AWD
Quality and craftmanship are the norms in this new 2008 E Class. Bluetooth should standard, rather than being required to purchase a connection module. Upgrading to P2 package well worth the investment. Handles exceptionally at high speeds, as well as cornering. The sport model is also a plus. Pick up and performance is excellent.
Lover of the Benzo
Know that you have performance machine in all areas. I updated to a ,2012 E350. I sold my E 350, 2008 to my military daughter and the best goes on

I Love It
The minute the car was driven into my garage by the dealership I was blown away. Next to the 2008 black M6 and even the cl550, the E63 is absolutely beautiful. Interior styling beautiful, simple, functional and elegant. Idrive is outdated and difficult to figure out, especially when you have different models of BMW. I Love the analog clock next to the speedo, even more so than the faux television screen display on the cl. AMG rocks over the M, just listen to the exhaust.
Like the Car
I bought this vehicle last week and have driven 500 miles to date. Saturday I drove some rugged mountain roads and found the car ro handle great. Mileage was good but not enough experience to judge accurately. The seats are not as comfortable as the Lexus I traded and the cabin is smaller. Leg support could be improved. Like lthe ride and handling.
E-Class Not a Real E Class
Traded in my fully loaded 2002 BMW X5 for a 2008 E350W. Should not compare apples to oranges. First Impression : After few weeks of driving the E Class, corner of my heart the BMW wins. As the saying goes, when you don't have it anymore is you will miss it even more.
Clean
Make sure the air suspension is not leaking. Its an enclosed transmission, so you can't check fluid or anything. Use mobil 1 full synthetic 0w-40 oil only. Requires premium gas 91-95 octane only! Deff don't buy one w electrical problems.

Best vehicle I have ever owned
I have owned many vehicles since I was legal to drive. I have always gravitated towards the European market most of the time and this is my third Benz. I previously owned a 01 S430 and a 02 CLK320. I have also owned a 87 VW Fox, and VW 05 Beetle TDI, 2000 BMW 323i, 2005 BMW 330ci, 2006 BMW 530i, 2012 Audi A4, and 2006 Mini Cooper S that I have owned from the European markets. This car trumps everything. It is comfortable, it feels solid and safe going down the road. Plus the fuel economy is legendary. It is the best of all worlds. It is such a smooth highway runner. When I get into this car at the end of a stressful work day, I can honestly relax on the way home and feel refreshed. I bought this car with about 80000 miles on it and enjoy it a lot every day.

2008 E350
I like the craftsmanship of this vehicle very much. The only thing missing from this car is the modern technology.

A true sports sedan
Best part of this car on my first drive was, compare to E320 and E500 ( both I owned before) how stable this drive train is. Solid grip feel and very stable with no rocking motion side to side. surefooted to road. Engine sound make you want to drive around the town more, and it becomes very addictive. Engine is remarkably responsive and with slight touch of the acceleartor car takes off leaving other cars behind the back mirror. Its totally effortless. No wonder with that much power. Nothing like E500 I had, much more responsive.
Not what I expected
My first Benz. I was glad to read a lot of positive reviews. The following makes me sound like a real whiner, but I gotta say it because I researched this car a lot before I purchased. Previous BMW and Lexus owner. First the good: Great looking, solid, smooth, and fast. Now the negative: Is it only me that thinks these seats are uncomfortable? I keep waiting to "get used to it". Still not happening. No power lumbar? Get real. No backup camera available? Toyota has it on every product. I just expected a lot more from a Mercedes. The name can't carry the reputation too much longer.
Nice change
2nd Benz, 4th European. Very pleased. Last car was an Acura TL, which we hated. Shocked at how poorly Acura was constructed, and we sold it after only 13,000 miles. The E350 is so much nicer. No comparison. We were debating between the GS350 and the E350. Wife liked the looks of the E, I liked the drive of both, but the E is hands down better looking. Sure, the GS is more reliable, but given my experience with the TL and Consumer Report's raving about that, who knows what to believe, and my brother in law's E has been flawless, as has been our CLK, which we kept. If the E is anything like our CLK, I'm sure we made the right choice. Nice design, solid. Very pleasant.
I learned the hard way…
Purchased this car with 144k miles with excellent service history. Transmission was iffy. Radiator was dying. Air suspension was dying/dead. Ended up spending close to 8k in a year on this car before getting rid of it in one year. As pretty and as fast as it was, spent too much time at the shop.
