Used 2004 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Sedan Consumer Reviews
Factual and Truthful
Aside from a defective alternator @ 1,000 miles and a loose headrest, the E500 4Matic hasn't disappointed. It has handled superbly through 30"+ of NE snow thus far. Solid car, solid ride, good price/value correlation.
So Far So good
Just got the car. Had 2002 Acura TL-S Type and had tons of problems. Car rides ten times better. Solid ride. Neat interior features. Probably needs a few more horsepower but has plenty. Be sure to get Premium Package!

2004 E500
It is a great car. Design and execution is great. My only complain is the one feature which I purchase and did not get is the active lights option. MB should have informed their customer when they delayed a feature as I custom order this car.
How could mercedes benz let this happen.
The only good thing about this car is the comfort factor. Everything else seems to be below average. I now know I would have been better off with a BMW, Lexus, or Acura. This will be the last MB for me. The build quality has dropped to much in recent years.
My 1st E-320 Mercedes
Have only had it for 2 months -- less than 1000 miles. Superb quailty. Quietest car I've ever owned. Gorgeous interior. Peppy acceleration. Sporty and sleek exterior. No problems so far.. Some people have complained about the "hard to modulate" brakes, but I havn't had any trouble using them. And the brakes are quite strong.
