More than satisfied

I have almost nothing but good things to say about this car. Base model comes very well equipped with virtually everything you would hope to have in a entry level premium sedan. As a technology junkie, the Microsoft-powered Sync interface (standard), is absolutely top shelf. The ride is quiet and supple, with the V6 supplying plenty of power as well as fuel economy. Handling is a tad underwhelming, but that is really my only beef. The cabin is well laid out, and both fit and finish and interior materials are very good. I find the seats to be very comfortable, and rear legroom is satisfactory. Even without A or Z plan, my sign and drive lease payment was under $400 a month. Recommended!

So much to like but sadly, too much spent on it

Bought the car at 110,000 miles for $8000. It was a great deal. I have the awd sport model. It looks great and has any feature that could be desired from heat/cooled seats, Bluetooth, navigation, etc. however… About 140,000 miles, the engine started knocking. New engine needed. Not the worst thing in the world, I bought it for less than trade in at the time. $12,000 for a car now with 42,000 miles? Not too bad. But still. It was $4000 I didn’t want to spend. 5000 miles later, the brakes start acting up. New front brake assemblies required. They were shot! New calipers, rotors, brake pads. About $600. About 5000 miles later, the differential is leaking. $400 repair. Along with a power stealing leak, $140. Soon to need to be replace, struts and sway bars. I love this car in the way it looks and feels. But yikes, at what point do I call it and part ways? All of this comes from my previous car, a 2004 Pontiac vibe, which had zero problems. I mean zero. I drove it for 200,000 miles and not one problem Ever. So it’s hard comparing what I had to this.

We bought our lincoln mkz wit only 8,000 miles. It was an amazing car for the money. One thing I learned do not get any other tires other than the michelin, we did and I regretted it! Unfortunately my mkz is now totalled but I loved it so much we're buying a newer model. I hope we love it as much as we loved the 2011. Also, the air conditioned sears are amazing!
