Shockingly Good!

2023 Lincoln Corsair Reserve 4dr SUV AWD (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 8A)

Bought the 2023 AWD Reserve loaded (Collection III package) and this was my first Lincoln. This may share a base platform with the Escape but any comparison ends there. The exterior looks fantastic and the interior is gorgeous. Excellent fit, finish, and ride quality with ample acceleration from the 2.0. An impressively well-executed vehicle with upgraded technology and overall build quality. The upgraded touch screen is easy to use and the Revel sound system is incredible for a factory installed option. Do yourself a favor and test drive a new Corsair to see for yourself. I had no idea Lincoln was offering such a superior product -- an attractive U.S. made alternative to pricey imports in this class. Kudos to Ford / Lincoln on this vehicle. I bought a 2023 and took advantage of great incentives, including low interest financing and cash back.

Luxury and Peppiness Made in America

Carl in Oregon, 03/21/2023

The exterior ceramic pearl color is eye catching, and doesn't stop there. The roof profile adds class and there is plenty of room in the back seat for adults. The cockpit has high grade materials and the floating instrument panel is convenient and classy. Many components in the cab are shared with the 2023 Ford Explorer. The power and performance are remarkable, and the performance modes really work (the "excite" mode is like a race car !). Even with FWD it performed very well in snowstorm (with ice mode selected). The rain sensing wipers are really handy, and the built in warning lights in the side rears really work and have save some stress already. Heated seats and steering wheel are now a "must have" for us and we love them. The touch screen is easy to navigate. The MyKey surprised us as one of ours was in "teenager mode" and the car would not go over 80 MPH when that key was used. It was easy to reprogram, but a great feature. There could be a little more storage in the cabin and only 10 radio pre-sets, but so minor compared to all the good. We had to shop for roof cross bars since Lincoln does not provide but found good ones from OMAC. Enjoy.

One year in and it has met my expectations.

Purchase my Corsair just about a year ago. I have less than 6000 miles on it but regardless it has met nearly all my expectations. Gas mileage has averaged about 25 to 26 miles a gallon. Handling has been exceptional. Automated systems for driving enhancement/safety have been great. Like most SUVs there are blind spots but it is manageable with some care. I am a little bit disappointed in the quality of the carpeting and some other aspects where cheap materials are used rather than materials I would expect in a luxury vehicle.

Excellent Compact SUV

We only have 1,200 miles on it but it drives great. Lincoln is the luxury division of the Ford Motor Co and this Corsair is built on the Escape frame. We also own a 2017 Escape Titanium trim and have owned and used it for 7 years now and while we love it, there is no comparison to the 2023 Lincoln Corsair. It is the perfect size for empty nesters that still like to travel and it handles nimbly and is quick, responsive and smooth. It does have lots of tech so if one is tech phobic then this may not be the right vehicle. But spend a little time learning the ins and outs and watch Youtube videos and it's easy to master.

We are very happy with the overall comfort, quality, and the convenience features of our new car. We researched and tried a lot of vehicles before we decided on Lincoln. the dealership was very helpful and had a good selection.

The touch controls versus buttons is a disaster

Steve, 06/17/2024

I enjoy the ride. The negatives are as follows. Wheel base length means bumps are more noticeable. The touch screen is a mess. There’s no way you can drive and pay attention to the road and do the simple task of adjusting fan speed or temperature in the cabin. The icons ancro the bottom are too small. The home Lincoln button is too small and sometimes it’s not responsive to your touch. The radio is another disaster. Trying to add stations, Wether, FM or serus. Radio is crappy and difficult to program. The muffler system is noisy versus quiet. Finally one has to unscrew multiple screws and pull a side panel cover just to change the cabin air filter. A 15 minute project. My my 23 Hyundai Santa Fe it took 3 minutes, was quick easy and well thought out to change the cabin air filter. I suggest one purchase the extended warranty with any Lincoln. Good luck.

The Corsair has been updated based on owner and dealer feedback. This is my second Corsair and the updates are good. The display is bigger and more intuitive. Speaking to the controls is much easier than before. The car is very comfortable .

Paid a lot of extra for my 2023 Corsair. So it after 6000 miles inadequate, gas, mileage highway and city already had some rattles in it. My mistake for buying it.

This SUV is absolutely amazing, so many features unavailable in other cars in its class, like the heavenly 24 way adjustable, heated, cooled, massaging seats, the Revel Ultima sound system, and the hands free Bluecruise that tracks like a missile safe and solid. Also the pricing is more then fair.

One of the worst vehicles I have ever driven.

Keller, TX, 05/09/2023

I test drove a 2023 Lincoln Corsair today. I have 32 years of automobile business experience and have driven almost every car made. This was one of the worst cars I have ever driven. It had terrible tire and road noise. The bumps transmitted through the chassis before moving up through the roof like a bell ringing. The stereo sounded tinny and cheap (the salesperson lied and said it had the revel sound option, it was the stock non option media). It did a porpoise motion as it went over undulations in the road. The engine had harshness and the transmission was jerky from a standing start. The car lurched forward and the nose-dived with even the smoothest braking pressure applied. After commenting on all this, the salesman said "shall we go in and write it up". I had to stay diplomatic. Shame on Ford.

4 months of ownership on my 23 Corsair Reserve. It was a program car that I got a great deal on. First off, it's gorgeous in black with red interior. Totally drew me in. I get many compliments . It rides wonderfully, is quiet and quick. Yes you do need to learn the touchscreen controls but it's not bad. You can also control most things from the steering wheel as well. Everything works great. Not sure why some are so sour on this car. I have no regrets and recommend it to anyone looking for a compact luxury SUV
