Used 2002 Lexus IS 300 Sedan Consumer Reviews
motor city is300 5speed
2,000 miles later I am happy I picked the IS300 over the BMW 330i. Even after the $2200 chrome wheel option, I saved almost $3k versus the BMW and the car has received more attention than it's popular counterpart. Potholes in the Motor City are plentiful, but the stiff ride is confident and composed. I'm 6' 4'' and have ample headroom even with the moonroof option. Strong braking and acceleration compare favorably to the BMW but the shift gate can be a bit tight at full throttle. Nonetheless, this car is a pleasure to own.
Wow!!
Superb Handling, good acceleration, Very comfortable even with 17" rims. test drove the BMW 330Ci, glad i bought the IS300.

The perfect most styled sedan
this car is near perfect. it looks as good as it drives. the inside very well done. all leather. the controls for A/C is great nothing too confusing. the snow mode is way cool up in the mtns. gauges are well designed and very accurate. and let me tell you this car moves for an inline 6. i got it up to 120 no problem on the freeway. if you're looking for something thats top of the line luxary but is fast and fun to drive and handles similar to an EVO, hook it up with this car. it will not dissapoint.
Excellent balance of perf. and luxury
Even after a brief period of ownership, I am very happy with the car. Handling and brakes are excellent, I6 is very strong, and the vehicle is full of features. My previous vehicle was an Audi TT Quattro, and the only thing I really miss is the AWD. However, I love the RWD dynamics and the excellent Torsen differential in the IS.
Fantastic sports sedan
I wanted a BMW, until I drove this car! It is beautifully equipped for thousands less than a comparable 330i and the performance is outstanding. It never fails to get comments wherever I go, and I love to drive it.
