Used 2007 Lexus GS 430 Consumer Reviews
Great Car but not a BMW...
Traded in my BMW 328CI because of miles and needed a bigger car. Pound per pound this car is the best value, true keyless entry, great nav, all the creature favorites that you need. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is not that fun to drive. The sport mode is to stiff and artifical, the increased power mode is still not that strong. The acceleration at high spead is not there. The trunk is small and the wheel wells get in the way, you can't put two large suitcases in the back.
Gotta Love it
I will never own a Mercedes or BMW... the GS 430 is the car everyone that want to experience luxury with power should own. I still have the first generation lexus GS 300 which is a wonderful automobile. But the GS 430 is the top of the line of the lexus fleet when you incorporate HP with luxury do not and I mean do not think getting the GS 300 will give you the same expeirence. It is worth the money if you know what I mean. Gotta love it!!
enjoyed the car time to move on
represents the Lexus brand well. Still performs well and rides smoothly with 139,000 miles

Disappointment
Lexus tried to design a sports sedan but went overboard with this one. The ride is too harsh for a sedan that every bump on the road can be felt and the road noise is not tolerable for a lexury brand. I also own two pure sports cars. When I drive a sedan, I do not want to feel like driving a wannabe sports car. The adjustable suspension does not work at all. The soft and hard setting feel the same. The interior rattles and squeaks either due to high-power stereo or improper design of the interior panels. My previous 2000 GS 400 was a better-built car even though it did not have as much gadgets as this one but I could enjoy a quiet and comfortable ride when I choose to.
