You Just Can't Go Wromg With The ES
I've owned Mercedes, Audi & BMW; but many more Lexus vehicles especially the ES. Listen, if you are a reasonable and mature adult - the ES is all you need. It's reliable, fuel efficient, luxurious and affordable. Ours is a lease but we will more than likely buy or upgrade. The Nightfall Mica over the Flaxen interior is very pretty and gets compliments often appearing as a much more expensive sedan. People are often impressed with the quality of the perforated vinyl seats. It's fast, again..it's quick; it will honestly surprise you in power driving mode. Build quality is excellent inside and out and no maintenance trouble. Just oil & filter changes every 10k and tire rotations every 5k. Don't fall into he German trap, think it over....we spend money on day and weekend trips instead of dummy light resets that cost $500-$1000

Smooth ride
The car drives smooth. Which is how it is designed for. I bought the car for comfort but it has great acceleration especially if you use the sport mode.

Nice old folks car
Purchased the ES 350 three months ago. Have 4600 mi. on it now and so far have been very pleased except for the fact that it has a stiffer ride than I thought it would have for a luxury car, shocks are to stiff I believe. I guess I'm to used to the old Cad's. The electrinics are a little to complicated for an 82 year old man but I'm shure they shoot for the younger set. Quality of design and style are nice and well put togther and everything fits very nice. Tax and license out the door was about $42,500
