This is a HUGE upgrade over my 2019 Hyundai Elantra SEL that I had. I moved from CA to the UPPER midwest and the snow is killer on a car that is not made for the snow. I spent 2 winters with my 2019 Elantra and couldn't take it anymore. I was offered more than what I paid for in in MARCH 2019 for a trade in, so I jumped on it. Basically I used the car for 4.5 years for free. I researched online for 3+ months over 37 SUV's and test drove 11 of them. I narrowed it down to the Honda CRV, Toyota RAV4 and Kia Sportage Hybrid SX-Prestige AWD checked everything off my list to the T. I like to keep my cars for 10+ years so I took my time in buying this. This SUV has everything. I studied all three trims, EX, LX and SX-Prestige. The SX-P has so many more features than any of the 7 trims that the Sportage comes in like, Panoramic Sunroof, etc. I had to get this one. I Completely Tinted the car including the sunroof with RAYNO NANO- Ceramic Carbon Tint. My car is now 30 degrees cooler in the summer than without Tint. It helps big time. I also added so many accessories as well as Roof Rack Cross bars. Now my SUV looks so sporty. The most important thing that I did was added 3 coats of 12H Advanced Graphic Ceramic Coating to it. It took me 3 days to complete all 3 coats. This is well worth it to protect the paint. I bought the Gravity Grey and after teh ceramic coating it is more shiny, deeper color and very rich looking. I ceramic coated the entire car including the galls, sun roof, plastic, wheels, lights, etc. 100% covered. I had this car for 3 weeks now after waiting for 4 months to get this on order and in. It was well worth the wait. The SUV rides like a dream. I mean that. It is supper smooth, no wind noise at all. Great gas mileage. I am getting 35-38 MPG in 100% city driving. I do not drive the highway at all. My work is 2 miles away on way so 1 mile is on Hybrid. I am very impressed with this SUV. I am very happy that I bought it. I wouldn't buy anything else. The CRV and RAV4 are so outdated interior and the exterior is old looking. I didn't like them. The Sportage has dual 12.3" Screens which looks like my tablets. I love that look. I highly recommended this. Must BUY!!!

A Great SUV

First, let me state that this replaced a 2023 Hyundai Tucson EX hybrid which was bought on impulse. The Tucson was a good vehicle but my wife and I had problems getting in without a memory seat. My wife wanted a red vehicle, the Tucson did not come in red. We bought the Tucson after driving a 2023 Honda CR-V hybrid. The CR-V was not as refined and modern as the Tucson and the Sportage hybrids. We went to the salesman we bought my 2019 Kia Optima EX five years ago. The salesman and the dealership, Findlay Kia in Las Vegas, were fantastic as far as price and service after buying the car. I knew what to expect to pay. We told the salesman that he should call us if he gets a red Sportage SX Prestige Hybrid. We bought the Tucson in February and got the call that a red Sportage came towards the end of June. The out the door price was what we were told it would be when we test drove the Sportage SX Prestige hybrid. We have been living and enjoying this car, particularly my wife, for about 4 months had have been very please. We have taken it on a trip from Las Vegas to San Diego and found that we can drive farther before taking a pit stop, the car rides so comfortably. It is one of the quietest vehicles we have ever owned. It has plenty of power and had no issues in climbing some of the hills on I-15. My wife was complaining about the mileage she was getting, about 30-32 mpgs. I drove the Sportage and found my overall mileage to be between 35 and 40 mpg; the epa rating is 38 mpg. There are two very minor gripes I have with the car. The first gripe I have is that the memory seats only control the seats, not the side mirrors. The second gripe is that the car did not come with a homelink mirror. I replaced the original rear view mirror with a homelink mirror from Amazon for $150. Installation time 5 minutes, homelink set-p 15 minutes. This is one of the best vehicles, if not the best, we have ever owned. It is comfortable, quiet, powerful, economical and spaceous.

Bought mine with gray/navy interior, almost 2 weeks ago. Its a lot nicer than my previous 2014 BMW X5. So many nice features in this KIA. Hybrid, AWD, big touch screen, car apps activate. Really help me that live in cold weather. So far i have no complaint on this car.

I never thought I would own a Kia,but have purchased the 2023 Kia Sportage Hybrid LX for a work/commuter vehicle. With the most room in its class and a price/warranty unsurpassed by its competitors (Rav4/CR-V). I have owned the Lexus 450H, and compare the Sportage ride/comfort to a Lexus. Unlike "other" Hybrid models I have driven, the Sportage seamlessly transitions from gas to electric, large 17" wheels, and 2L engine is the perfect combination for power and comfort while still getting AMAZING gas mileage. Sometimes up to 40 even 50mpg, but consistently in the mid to upper 30's even with my heavy "foot' on occasion. I am SO impressed with this vehicle!!

We have had our Sportage PHEV for almost 4 months. Absolutely love it. I’ve gone from using 16 gallons of gas a week with our 15 year old Ford Edge to 8 gallons every other week. I took it on a road trip for the first time and it handles great at 85 mph on the highway. Went on a dirt road with deep sand in a few places, and it handled great there as well. Lots of storage space in the rear for golf clubs, bags, etc. I love the safety features and the large screen display. My rear seat passengers enjoyed the leg room. Their drinking cups did not fit into the cup holders in the back, but I can remedy that in the future. It would be nice to have a place to put a cup in the door pockets. The negatives are very minor in comparison to all of the wonderful things about our new car. We are absolutely loving it!
