My experiences with the new kia sorento are great.Since the day me and my Wife test drove it and did some reserch we went back to buy it. Since that day we have no regrets. It was the best decision in our lives for our family.we took long trips and short trips 2 miles to 1500. miles and it still feels the same.Its well disigned exterior and interior are beautiful and makes it the best suv in its class.

I fell in love with this SUV. For the price and safety features you can not go wrong.Safety rating are a big plus. Side air bags, steel reenforced doors/frame, and a drop down engine where very important for protection of my family. 10yr/100,000 mile warranty is best amoung most.

This is my second Kia. I bought a Kia Sedonna Ex 3 months ago and so far I have nothing bad to say about it. I had a Dodge Caravan which I traded in for the Sedonna, and I had a Dodge Dakota which I leased 5 years ago. The Sorento took it's place. My wife loves to drive the Sorento and I must admit I am a little jealous because I drive the van. I am hoping that the Kia's don't disappoint me because right now I like both of them very much. I did a lot of internet research on both and found that they both received pretty good reviews. All in all I am very pleased with my selection.

The ride is smooth. the warranty is the best in the market 10 years 100000 miles. My wife is very impress, My kids loves it. The engine is running so quietly

Sure everybody, all of us have our ups and downs, but your gonna have to go a long way to beat the little Sorento, What a great gift to the RV world! I can't wait to get a new one, I'm sure it will be even better if that's possible. No complaints here!

After all the bad things I've heard about Kia, I can't believe the Sorento is this good! I show off my Kia as much as I can, because this is a solid truck, as good as anything Honda, Toyota or any of the other market leaders can muster up! My truck is loaded, but I tell my friends get the base Sorento Great truck for short money! Of course, the money you save goes towards gas, but you can't have it all

After reading reviews and shopping around alot I settled on the Sorento EX with the AWD luxury package. When I pulled into my daughters driveway her husband came out and gasped " Lexus 300 ". I said look at the grill. "KIA,oh my god". That was the first of many. This is a solid truck. The controls are intuitive. The sound system is the bomb. The interior makes me feel like I stole the bosses Escalade. My wife leaves her Liberty in the driveway. Nice.

This truck is an unlikey member of the KIA family. Reminds me much more of a Mitsibishi or Nissan product. Dont let the name KIA turn you off. Its a good truck. Still too expensive though compared to what else you can get from other companies. Especially considering the rebates being offered now from GM and Nissan. When we bought this Sorrento, I had no idea that the other companies were discounting so much. Before buying a Sorrento, check with the other dealers to see what you can get for the same price. Again, good truck,will do everything it is designed for well, not great, but well.

we find it to be a very stable and solid vehicle. when compared to other suv's it far superior for the price. after buying the vehicle we discovered unique consumer friendly conveinces and overall engineering quality. great car!!!!!!!!!

I had my heart set on a Toyota Sequoia,but after test driving the 2004 Kia Sorento I was hooked. The body style caught my eye. It's sporty and solid. Not only is it a great looking vehicle, it costs thousands less than the Toyota SUV's even with the luxury package!

I love my Sorento! I bought it with 73,000 miles on it, for around ten thousand including a standard lifetime powertrain warranty(really sealed the deal). After 5 months and 8,000 miles, I would of bought it without the warranty. The engine is extremely reliable and the 4 wheel drive is awesome. The gas mileage is O.K., but what can I expect from a V6 4x4. Because this is a true 4x4, the ride can be a little rough, but the cushy seats help a lot. Overall, this is a reliable and fun to drive vehicle that has all the goodies at a rock bottom price. Buying a Sorento was a smart move for me and it will be too for you.

great suv for the price . i question the review on the power i myself think its very good . have you ever drove a montaro what a dog . the kia is fast and responds to wheel inputs.

We just bought an 03 Kia Sorrento EX and so far so good. The car provides a very comfortable ride and my wife loves it. I wanted a Toyota 4Runner but she liked the smaller size of the Kia. The outside and inside finish on our car is excellent. We love the smooth ride and can't wait to take it up to Snowbird for a few powder runs.

I'm a middle-aged woman who found a comfortable and maneuverable 4WD that rides smoothly over the road but handles my excursions off-road quite well. It took a few days to get used to the height and slower speed necessary when using highway off-ramps without the sensation of tipping or rolling over, but that same height allows for great off-road clearance. It holds my horse saddle and tack as easily as the groceries, and looks great for a dressed-up night on the town. Gas mileage is about 17 around town, 21 over-the-road. A truly versitile vehicle that converts easily from a passenger to utility vehicle in minutes.

I have had my Kia for a few months now. I love it. The engine is a little noisey when you really get it your all. I love that i can fit into tight parking spots with no problems. So far i love it am glad in made the purchase.

Pricepoint was the main reason for interest initially. A combination of comfort, style, and quality overall sold me. I am well-pleased with my purchase.

This is our second Sorento -- the first one did not last 1000 miles! The words they used were misbuilt and electrical nightmare! I called the dealer, and 16 hours later I had a brand new Kia! Hats off to the dealership -- the second one is great. No complaints yet. We looked at other SUVs. This one was in our price range and with three kids it is very roomy.

DURING MY BRIEF OWNERSHIP I FEEL THE FIT & FINISH IS EXCELLENT. IT IS VERY MANEUVERABLE, RESPONSIVE AND FUN TO DRIVE. I HAVE THE BASIC LX MODEL WITH THE 5-SPEED, AND EVEN AT THIS LEVEL THE VEHICLE IS WELL EQUIPPED AND THE INTERIOR IS WELL THOUGHT OUT.THE CLEAN AND UNDERSTATED STYLING OF THE LX APPEALS TO MY PERSONAL TASTES.

I bought this SUV after having my child and realizing the sports car had to go. I would not even consider a 4 door sedan. This is the best alternative although the tank is a guzzler. I love the car but don't buy one at Kia Norwood they are a nightmare in Warwick, RI

We just purchased our 2004 Kia EX and love it so far. The fit and finish inside and out are on par with other more costly SUVs - and even better in some cases. The fat Michelin tires are a plus. The styling is right on. Kudos to Kia on their first attempt at directly competing with other SUVs in this ever changing market. Unfortunately, the less than great gas mileage (although on par with the Ford Explorer) and louder than expected engine noise are it's only drawbacks thus far. Excellent service department at the dealership.

This is a fun truck to drive! My husband even loves it (he's an F-350 man). Great towing, pulled our 4 wheelers and snowmobiles without a problem. MPG could be a little better. However, with the money I saved I don't mind putting a couple extra bucks in the tank. KIA did a great job design wise. I was looking at the BMW X-5 when a co-worker bought one and spent more time in the shop having it repaired than she owned it. I have not had one problem with my Sorento in 17,000 miles. I love it! I will consider another one when that time comes.

I just bought this vehicle last month and I love it. Compared to many other SUV's in it's class,it was the best value for what you get! It drives smoothly and is very roomy. I recommend it!

I've had my 2004 Sorento EX (4wd) for about 2 months now and have about 2600 miles on it. So far nothing has gone wrong with it and I've had a great time driving it. The sorento has the best factory installed stereo system I've ever heard. I'm regulary being asked about the car and everyone who has seen it has been impressed. So far, its been a great pay for the money.

Looks good. Noisy but peppy engine. Hardest leather seats I have ever encountered. At this time this is a "buyers mistake". When KIA quiets the engine, improves the seats, and makes other "gadge" upgrades it will be ok.

We love our Kia Sorento. We couldn't be happier with the value, warranty and style. The 4WD has come in quite handy in this nasty Ohio weather we have had as of late - it handled wonderfully.

We decided to consider purchasing SUV after using 2003 KIA as rental car for 3 weeks, while current auto, 96 Taurus SHO being repaired. Reviewed several SUV's, chose 2004 KIA EX for it's style, good looks, road handling, and roominess. Much easier to get children in and out of car seats. Very affordable!

Quality is NONEXISTANT!I am getting rid of this car Has been repaired countless times.Driver side door handle broke off.Pull down handle for trunk broke off. CD player is eatting my cd's.Paint has chipped off of all buttons on radio and A/C controls. Paint has flaked off of the entire roof,tops of the mirrors & along wheel well trim. Shocks/arms that keep the trunk & the back window glass open have failed, so you have to hold them open manually. Car just had 3k worth of work done which included A/C compressor, leaking valves, coolant reservoir replaced.Coolant reservoir just cracked again yesterday.Head&Tail lights burn out every 6 mths.Sunroof leaks.Worst car I've ever owned!

I love my Sorrento! I have not had one ounce of problems since purchase. This is my second Kia to own. I loved my Optima and hated to part with it when I did. But, I love the space and the ride in my Sorrento!

Had doubts about the name KIA and after putting on over 8,000 miles on a trip we have no doubts about the name. The vehicle has performed better than expected. Only a few minor design changes would make this vehicle a perfect "10".

Little compared to a Pathfinder or Escalade, etc (4x4 World), but overall fun and easy to drive and dart around town. Simple to park too. A bit plain in appearance but stylish enough to be modern. The warrenty can't be beat. The total package is cheaper then the competition (c'mon Leather, all time 4WD, even Radio Controls for crying out loud!). Safety is a factor, 6 air bags ensure it! I have to put a 5 in Build Quality and Reliability, with it being new I can't honestly judge it. Yet. Not bad for a Korean manufacture, now if only my Samsung TV was just as solid.

Never in a million years would I have believed that I would ever own a KIA, however the Sorento has definately changed my opinion. I LOVE this vehicle! I would definately recommend the Sorento and would purchase again in the future.

Excellent SUV. Is a gas hog in my opinion. V6 maybe 20 miles a gallon. Quiet ride is exceptional. This vehicle is also built very good. Get the most for your money.

This is the from kia (S U V ) beside the Sedona Van. The ride is smooth with a lot of leg room.I have been driving the Sorento for over a Year now and I like every moment of it. When I was looking for a SUV I wasn't loking for a sport car I was only looking for a 4x4 with low maitenance and somthing good for my budget.

We have been delighted with everything about our suv!!!!! its magic and rides wonderfully. i was injured in a car accident and my neck was ruined i havent felt safe in a car until we got the sorento

Just got my 2004 Kia today. Love it!!! Mine is black w/ the side running bars. What a fantastic ride. My partner just got a Lexus RX330 and he compares my Kia to his Lexus as a comparable vehicle.

We love this vehicle. The value for the money is extraordinary when compared to ANY similar make. We looked at numerous other 4x4 SUV's - nothing came close to Sorento for the money. The next best vehicle (with almost identical options) was priced almost $2,500 above the Sorento. Kia's quality has certainly improved and the fit and finish is nothing short of excellent. As far as "real" off road capability, only the Jeep models and the Kia Sorento are listed by a major off road magazine as having this "real" capability. I would highly recommend the Kia Sorento to anyone who wants the best car for the least money.

Have only had vehicle 6.5 months, but vehicle is the best I've ever owned. Very comfortable and a blast to drive. It almost makes rush hour traffic enjoyable. Plenty of room for people and 'stuff'. Full size adults fit comfortably in rear seats.
Ya gotta' have one of these!

Purchased a new 2004 Sorento EX/4WD with luxury package, ABS & rear spoiler. Researched & test drove everything from a Hyundai Tucson to a Lincoln Navigator. No other SUV offers so much quality, options, warranty & pure fun! The ride is solid but comfortable and the fit/finish is great. It's a real head-turner. The absolute best bang-for-the-buck in the mid-size SUV class. Gas mileage is acceptable (I am averaging about 17 MPG in town but to get that you need to keep your foot out of it). This is one GREAT vehicle. Ya gotta' have one of these!

I was in the market for a car when a friend of mine suggested that I try the Sorento. I was so glad I did!! This SUV is as awesome as the title says. This venicle has been off-road and on the city streets of Chicago. If any of you know about the highways in Chicago, you know they're almost as bad as going off-road. However, I've hit potholes, roadkill, branches, DEEP standing water (that's really cool), curbs, etc. and there's absolutely no rattling in the car. NONE!! I've got close to 23,000 miles on my EX and except for the gas mileage, I've found nothing wrong with it!

I had nothing but problems from the time I bought my Kia brand new. Crack in the drive shaft with less than 300 miles on it a month after I bought it. Constant electrical problems that the dealer couldn't fix: brake lights out every 3 months, headlights out every 6 months. Both headlights blew out at the same time once! $400+ to replace sensors, including throttle and airbag, which warranty had just expired (conveniently). Bad catalytic converter, which went bad 2K miles after warranty expired. This is the WORST purchase of my life. The only reason I didn't get rid of it sooner was because I was STUCK with it: they depreciate too fast you can't trade them in. PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE @ its best!
Get the facts and give it a shot!!

We compared other midsize SUV's but found the Sorento to have all the same features as the more commonly known brand SUVs in the USA, but for about $5,000 less.

I tried lots of SUVs before buying my Kia. Overall, it had the best package. Tough enough to go offroad, luxurious, safe, good warranty, powerful, neat looking, not crazy expensive. I almost bought the top of the line Jeep Cherokee Limited for the same price, but liked the Kia's drive much better.

When I saw ,KIA, I was amazed. I could not believe this was a KIA. The design and style of the Sorrento is striking. Needless to say, I am still impressed by the ride and amazed at the sticker price. I am attracted by the warranty, offer of Lifetime tire replacement, free oil changes for three years and far more features than any other SUV in this price range. I think that the LX in black is much prettier than the EX in black. But, the only way to have the options I wanted was to purchase the EX. You will not be dissapointed if you choose to purchase one.
