Avoid this car like the plague! The mileage
Everything about this car is fantastic, except for the hybrid powerplant. The mileage is 25 and 33 just like the other reviews stated. That's pitiful for a hybrid and barely better than a standard engine. The car starts moving so slowly that it's dangerous, and often just stumbles until the gas engine starts itself. The electric motor is supposedly 45 HP but it feels more like 20, and it really should be 100 or more. If you want a hybrid buy another brand. If you want an Optima buy the standard version. Save yourself the grief this car has caused me.

Stay far away from kia
I got new Kia about year ago off dealership and moment I left lot it’s been nothing but trouble. Now it’s currently at dealership with an engine blown due to Kia engine settlement that supposed to be fixed for free. It’s been over 4 weeks no vehicle, but stuck with a car payment on a car I can’t drive and being told the transmission already slipping. I just don’t get how when I took car good car of my car. I will never buy Kia again. I’m not even sure what to do since Kia won’t respond and help me do anything about this whole circumstance. I definitely would have never got this car had I known. I don’t recommend Kia at all.
