Think before buying a wrangler JL

I am a big fan of wrangler and this is my 5th wrangler. On July 2018 I bought an unlimited Rubicon automatic transmission. The new wrangler JL is more better than the old JK, at least that what I felt when I test drove the car, so I decided to buy it. From the 1st month I started to have problems with it. There is a knock sound from under the car whenever I start the engine, took it to the dealer they said it’s Normal ! The front left side of the dash there is a rattle sound. 2-3 months the air condition vent control will not direct the air to my feet when selected, took it to the dealer and I told them about the rattle sound from the dash, the dealer called me and Said the part for the air distribution was missing ( never been installed by the manufacturer! ) my whole dash was disassembled every part was removed from my dash, and the whole dashboard was leaning on my front seats, the center console was removed, the transmission lever was removed too, well they fixed the problem after being 12 days at the dealer, but still I have the rattling sound and it’s getting worse. My backup camera did not work twice since I bought the car, the screen went completely blue ! Took to the dealer and it worked by it self with No problem. Now I have a problem with 8.4 touch screen it freezed on me 2 times, nothing was working the whole screen freezed , all the air condition controls wasn’t working too, nothing on my dash buttons were working. the voice command button was not working, everything froze. I turned off the engine and restarted the car twice didn’t help, I have it video taped and I need to take it to the dealer. During Texas hot summer The air condition sometimes starts to give hot air in automatic mode, I have the temperature selector on 72, why I am getting hot air every 10-15 minutes ?! Now we are in the cold season, when I use the heater the air condition starts to blow cold air every 10-15 minutes and it stays for long time. The USB Data is not working as expected, I have my iPod connected but I have to unplug it and plug it again in order for the iPod to work, I never had any problem on my previous JKs. Seriously I don’t know what is going on with this car. I paid 47k for my Rubicon and I am expecting something good. I truly love my wrangler and I can’t imagine my garage without it, but I will take it to the dealer for the last time, if anything start to go wrong I will definitely going to sell it. Gas mileage is not as advertised, I logged 5000 miles so far, and I am getting 19.0 MPG on a highway driving with cruise control set at 65 miles/hour, city driving with traffic I am getting less than 13 MPG. I hope I won’t get any more problems otherwise I am going to miss my Pmnken color wrangler. My advice wait for a year or so before buying a new wrangler, maybe Jeep company will fix all these issues. I am not happy with my purchase.

My Wrangler has 127,000 miles and to date one significant repair- rear axle bearings replaced. It still have original brake pads. Minor repairs that I fixed myself included; sun visors, rear window defroster wire came off, tail gate would not work with remote

Purchased 6 Aug 18.Drove home had it for a week. On 17 August 18 took into shop. Was driving clutch pedal went to floor. I was able to pump it up to use it. It's now 4 Oct and have been told parts may be here middle of October. We are now on 2nd loaner vehicle. Carson Dodge has been extremely supportive of and helpful. We didn't even get the vehicle from them.

death wobble occurred first at 4200 miles , and again about 2000 miles later . since the steering stabilizer was replaced the second time , all seems to be going well . that was the only problem that i have had , but it was an eye-opener when it did happen . i came out of a ford f150 after (8) years , and 190,000 miles , and had never experienced that before . when it happens at 70mph , it is a scary thing , i did report it to the government safety board .
