What I like about this vehicle is that it’s a smooth drive and that it’s a gas saver. What I don’t like is that I wish I had more than 24 miles on hybrid.

Absolute WORST car purchase ever

We bought ours brand new in the spring of 2024 bc of really good incentives. Fast forward 6 months, this vehicle has been nothing but issues. Hose replacement, electrical issues, sluggish acceleration, etc. made 5 trips to service center since we bought it new. DO NOT BUY 4XE'S!!!!! You WILL be sorry. We finally got fed up and traded it in for a new Honda SUV. According to sales rep these vehicles have such a bad reputation that no one test drives them. These 4XEs just sit on their lots. No wonder they offered great incentives. Many dealerships won't accept them as trade in bc they can't sell them. We got very lucky.

Jeep Willys 4xe 2024 is Amazing

I bought the jeep Willy’s about a week ago. For the last 2 years I have been driving a Tesla model Y long range and I should say I love that car. However I needed a 2nd car. I test drive many cars. BMW X5, Audi Q7 and A7, Audi A4 and more. However the moment I test drive the jeep Willy’s 4xe, I fell I love with the car. Everything with this car is amazing. I love the classic look, I love the 20+ range if EV which is more than enough for my daily commute. With Tesla, the car does the driving for you! With the Jeep you go. Ack to your roots and you actually drive the car. It is very fun to drive.

I’ve only had the Jeep for a year and half now, so far I love it. I was hesitant to buy the plugin Hybrid, but I have no regrets, quiet and pretty peppy. The last time I owned a Wrangler was 2010, they have really come a long way, without compromising their rugged look. Sky One Touch is pretty awesome, nothing beats that open air feeling.

Fuel efficient all terrain hot rod

After 3800 miles in our 2024 4xe Sport we have no regrets for the purchase. We are averaging 30.2 mpg overall since purchase as shown on the dashboard readout. That is about 40% battery only and 60% hybrid travel according to the dashboard readout. We always charge the battery when needed at home overnight on the supplied 120V charger. This Jeep is a rocket. The instant electrical torque at hand whether in full charge mode or "discharge" mode combined with the wide torque band of the turbocharged gas engine makes for a no lag leap forward when you punch the throttle. Continued strong acceleration keeps coming while your foot is down. This thing is FAST. You have no issues passing slow traffic on any type of road. The engine is designed to run on regular grade gas. The transfer case features automatic 4WD, i.e., you can leave it in 4WD high all the time whether on dry pavement or off road. No 4WD high crabbing or drivetrain binding on dry pavement in other words. Two wheel drive and 4-low are also included just like with the standard Wrangler transfer case. It is still a Wrangler so its straight-line stability is not so strong and you regularly have to pay attention to the steering wheel needs. Character. Wind noise is more obvious than with a regular SUV. The ride is much better than that of a 2-door Wrangler (we have owned three) but it isn't as smooth as that of a passenger car SUV. It is still to be considered a comfortable vehicle. We routinely get 25-30 miles on battery alone. Sometimes there is a bit of gas engine assistance going up a hill with low remaining battery charge while in those battery only miles. The transitions between electric and gas are seamless. This Wrangler is a true hybrid in that when not driving in full electric mode the engine and battery still share duties during all normal driving. In hybrid mode the engine often shuts off while driving, whether in town or on the highway, the battery reserve providing the needed propulsion. The battery is never emptied, always keeping two KW or so in reserve whenever the dashboard readout says "zero". So then, you have full electric car mode for the first 25 miles or so and then full "Prius hybrid" mode for the next 350 miles until you're out of gas. You have buttons on the dashboard that when pushed will reserve the full battery to use for later driving on your journey. It has a full airbag interior including front and rear side airbags. There are updated and easily removable roof panels. The 4xe has heated seats and steering wheel standard. Grab handles for driver and passengers front and rear are now built in to the A and B pillars so you don't need to hang those aftermarket strap handles off the roll bar cage anymore. The hybrid battery fills the space beneath the rear seat so no more stuffing items down there. The seat itself remains unchanged. Overall, it is a fantastic vehicle full of character and capability. And did I mention it is FAST?
