Update: No one would acknowledge the issues with this vehicle, although I had several videos showing them exactly what was happening. Push start, nothing happening. This happened over the course of several months 0f 2019. I traded it in for a much more reliable vehicle. I've had my 2018 Jeep Renegade Limited for a little over a year. Right after we bought it, we were traveling to another state, stopped at a rest area, ran in real quick, came back and the only volume on the radio was blaring. Had to sit over night before it corrected itself. Of course, according to the dealer, no other Jeep on the planet has done this. Now, starting this past spring, not even a year old, push to start, radio comes on, engine does not. Takes about 5 minutes before it turns over. Dealer has never heard of this either, will not give me a loaner because they say nothing is broken on my Jeep. Of course it won't do this when I've driven 40 miles to take it them, it has to sit. It has to be a cold start. I'm not wasting my day there, not to mention it doesn't do it every single time. I wish I had my Challenger back. I wish I had never bought this Jeep. Worst purchase. I need to trade this in before I'm stranded in a another town, too far away from my home.

Serious oil consumption

I have owned this Jeep Renegade for three months and 4200 miles. Two days ago it stalled out on the three times. I called the dealerships service department because no engine light came on. They said there have been problems and to heck my oil. The dip stick was dry! It has already burned through 5+ quarts!! I have been driving with less than one quart of oil!!!! I am beyond shocked! Why did no low oil dash light come on? This is a major issue! I am reading other complaints, so it isn’t just mine! Now trying to go through the lemon law is going to be a real nightmare! Something needs to be done!

traded my 2011 mazda CX7 AWD Turbo in for the 2018 jeep renegade upland 4x4. First jeep i've bought and so far i am happy with it. handles well for a small jeep. i like the fact that i can change the traction control from awd auto to snow, mud, sand. pretty good in the snow as i live in upstate New York. not much cargo space but for my needs it's ok. the touch screen info system is a bit small for my taste but it will work and the back up camera display is small too. love the remote start. handles well off road, ie; gravel roads, unpaved roads. haven't done any real off-road trips yet but plan too. overall a pretty good little jeep for the money.

I did have a rough start with my Renegade There was a loose electrical issue that took about 6 week to find & fix. But.... since then. It's been a THOROUGHLY ENJOYABLE RIDE!! Live in Florida, drove it to North Georgia Mountains last month & she made me proud!!! She climbed those hills & handled those tiny little mountain paths!!

90K miles and runs like a champ, great fuel mileage (28-30), great handling, and great power. Love it!
