my last Jeep
Dangerous blind spots; front windshield too low -- hard to see traffic lights; back window too small; interior too tight -- bump head ( I am not very tall); serious blind spots; seats hard and uncomfortable. This is not a reflection on the dealership. I would buy another car from them without hesitation.
Auto transmission problems
In November 2006 I purchased a used Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD. It only had 10,000 miles on it. I immediately began having problems with the automatic transmission with the following problems: (1) Needed a transmission control module; (2) clogged transmission filter; (3) leaking O rings and finally had to have the transmission replaced at 18,000 miles. The car left us stranded twice on the highway. The second time I thought the car would catch on fire. I will never purchase a Chrysler product again. I don't care what their warranty period is. This is the poorest quality on construction I have ever seen in an automobile.

2005 Jeep Cherokee
We have had nothing but continuing problems with this vehicle. It has been in the shop 4 times for transmission problems, one time for the security chip going out (leaving me stranded), and 2 times for the tire pressure light which comes on often for no reason. In addition, the MPG average is 13 mpg, which is not what the window sticker said. Also, the canvas type seats stain terribly, even from water. Kinda funny for a Jeep.
The last real 4x4
The all wheel drive 4.7 v8 gets about 14-15 city mpg I think that is perfect if you live in a climate where all wheel drive is needed. The car has perfect power, steering ability and off road performance. I had a 1997 grand cherokee and I can say jeep has come a long way perfecting it. All the way around it is a very good car!!! Its now at 175,600 miles and all I have had to replace is 2 raiditor hoses, brakes, bulbs, and fluids!!!! It is a very strong suv!!! I've had it for 3 years now and will never get rid of it

Money Pit
Got the Jeep with 75k on it; looked great and ran well until 80 k. Replaced struts, radiator, tune up( 16 plugs!) Trans now jumps into 3rd gear all the time-dealer has no idea what the problem is. Dash lights continually flash , not a bad car but expected more from jeeps flagship. Update; This jeep HAD to have been built on a Monday morning by the hungover or still drunk workers from the law. Too many gremlins and expensive fixes to mention. Will never look at another Chrysler product in my life. terrible....just terrible.
