DOORS NOT FLUSH TO FRAME
I have had my Jeep in the shop 6 times to adjust the drivers door frame. When it snows or rains it builds up in all four doors. When on the highway wind blows in around the frame. The strike plate on the drivers side continuously needs adjustments. The dealer tells me this frame problem witht the doors is normal. I have owned 3 SUV and never had this problem. I am pretty disgusted.. I would like to hear from a JEEP representative to discuss these problems.
Don't buy a grand Cherokee
I purchased a 2001 brand new and I've had so many problems ranging from my moon roof not working to my transmission being replaced to replacing my heated leather seats. I don't recommend this product to anyone!!

Great Vehicle-Wish Dealer Was
Overall-the car has been excellent. Reliable, responsive, great looking. However, when a warranty item needs service, dealer will try to wiggle out of it. I was told "There is no such thing as a bumper-to-bumper warranty!" And the extended warranty is another joke. Sunroof leaked when car was 100 miles over the 36,000 mile limit. Dealer charges $250.00. I was told by dealer to contact Chrysler...they couldn't help me.

we have the JGC with the V8 and selec- trc II full-time 4wd. The vehicle is fantastic in sand and snow. The V8 has tons of power and averages 16.5 mpg overall. Out local dealer upgraded replaced my front calipers under the recall.
