The Grand Cherokee L is a very comfortable suv cruising down the road and makes driving a pleasure. This vehicle is full of high tech equipment.

Sorry Jeep, I had high hopes for the Grand Cherokee L and the new Waggoneer. So we went to the dealer yesterday and checked it out. Simply couldn't believe how uninspired we were. Comfy seats, but aside from that, boring, plain and cheap looking interior. In Jeeps defense, they'd probably say yes but it's a Jeep, its supposed to have a "utility" look to it. Ok fine, but Jeep pushes these models as being high end and luxurious. Really, for $55K that's what's you call luxurious? Cheap plastics and boring design? Check out the Ford Expedition XLT, Acura MDX, Lexus, etc in comparison. For the same price you're getting twice the vehicle. Sorry Jeep, disappointing.

Swiss Army Knife of SUV's

Purchased my Grand Cherokee L Limited with all upmarket options in August 2021 when the first models arrived and have 3800 miles on it. What a great road trip and off road hunting vehicle. So quiet and smooth on the road and carries all the gear needed for the outdoors. Mud, rocks, trails, no problem! Clean it up when I get home and can go anywhere in town looking a lot more stylish than most all of the competitor SUV's. Have the 3.6L Pentastar engine which is has plenty of tourque for most drivers and is so smooth. I put 189,000 miles in 9 years on my last Pentastar in a Dodge Durango without any repairs other than oil changes and will look to repeat that on my new GCL. Had one chip issue in the first month which drained the battery. Took it to the dealership, they gave me a GCL loaner, got the chip in, and have not had a single issue since.

Problem and more Problems

In the past 6 weeks since buying this brand new vehicle it has been in the shop 5 times. First the radio and Bluetooth wouldn't work, then the 3rd row handle broke off, as I was driving the power steering stopped working, and top it off on a sunny day as snow was melting, water started pouring in through my passenger side visor connection. Jeep last year has removed all returns, trade-ins, and buy-backs from their contracts so they have no responsibility no matter what happens to your vehicle. On top of the 4 recalls already.
