The L looks good and is very comfortable but the bad far outweighs the good. I'm not going to bother typing all the issues as others have covered everything that went wrong. With the exception of the parking brake engaging and not releasing with every light on the dash lit up. It's been in and out of the dealership many times and is still not safe to drive. Chrysler won't do anything about any of it. Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge/starlantis or whatever they call themselves these days should be ashamed to sell a vehicle like this to anyone. Right now the dealership has given us a lowball offer to buy it back but we have contacted a lemon law lawyer. It is the 3rd new vehicle we've bought in just over 2 years. 2 of those were Jeeps. It will be the last. Update We settled with FCA for $15,000 and kept the vehicle. We then promptly traded it in for a non FCA vehicle. Of course the lawyer got nearly half of that and we could have pushed to have FCA take the vehicle back. But that process could have taken up to a year and we could have lost. When all was said and done we did lose money overall, but it could have been worse. The trade value on the L has dropped like a rock and continues to do so. It was a $52,000 vehicle brand new and we got $36,000 on trade with it being 1 year old and only 15,000 miles. In comparison I recently trade in a 1 year old F150 with over 40,000 miles and got $2,000 more trade in. We paid less for the 150 new than the L...

Parts take for ever and they need replacing often

I have had the car for over two years and am presently waiting for a part that has been on backorder for over a month. Previously, it took over a month for a part to get to the dealer. It happens too often; as soon as I build up more equity, I will trade it in and never buy a Jeep again. I have been a Jeep owner for about 30 years.

Two Years and We’re Done

We bought our Grand Cherokee L in the fall of 2021. Pros: nice interior fit and finish, great sound system, and tons of room. Cons: The annoying whistle from the rear view mirrors is real. Hope you don’t like driving with the windows down. Two years and 25,000 miles in - the car left us stranded on a road trip. Error message galore on the dash and no power steering. We had it towed to the nearest Jeep dealership - hopefully never to be seen again. I have more faith in my 8 year old 100,000 mile 4Runner to safely transport my family.

I bought my Grand Cherokee L limited in december 2021 and every month have to go to the dealer for New problems. I don't have speakers since june 23rd and now all the bottons on top of the screen ain't working. I can't activate the hazard lights or turn off the line detector so the car always bring me back if the flasher is not on.
