NICE JEEP
i have ahd this jeep for quite a while and it is the best, most reliable car i have ever driven. Mine currently has 198,703 miles on i with the curent engne and th oly poblem i had was to geta new water pump once.
Best Vehicle I've Owned
I am at 140K and have done very little to keep my Jeep going. I now live in CO and use it off road regularly. This is easily the best vehicle I've owned, and I've gone through a lot of others while I've kept my Jeep. It's still strong and lots of fun. My kids will probably learning to drive with it 8 yrs. from now.
Outstanding value seldom seen today
166,000 miles and running strong. I plan to have the hood repainted due to the clear coat breaking down. I noted minor rust at the corners of the overhead cargo rails - buffed and repainted it with no rust through. I have not detected rust anywhere else. The engine is expected to hit 300,000 without major repair - that from my dealership who routinely see them. The engine (I6 4.0 liter) is the BEST and my new Jeep Grand Cherokee was purchased with it.
BEST VEHICLE I'VE OWNED
234,000 MILES WITH NO ENGINE OR TRANS REPAIRS.JUST TRADED FOR A NEW CAR.HATED TO GIVE IT UP!!!!!!
Still Unbreakable After All These Years
I've got 112000 miles on my 2 door 4X4 and have had it in places goats wouldn't go. Only the electric antenna broke during the first 100K. I put highway tires on after the first 80K (& the original off road tires still have plenty of tread left). The only problem?. . . I can't hear on the cell phone because of road noise. I owned a 280ZX turbo before my Jeep, and the Jeep has been more fun to drive in more places for more things, by far. I'm ready for a sedan now, but I'll not trade in the Jeep. It is good for at least another 100K miles of hunting, hauling and commuting.
