So far not so good

Three days after my purchase, I began having issues with the vehicle making strange noises and slowing down abruptly while on the road, the gas cap warning light and the engine light stayed on as well. I shared this with the dealership and it took several trips there before the grunting and speed reduction issue was corrected. It’s been a full 2 months since I complained of the issues and last week after having repairs completed regarding the gas cap and engine light at the dealership, I’m still having the same issues. When I first got the vehicle it was love at first sight but now I deeply regret my purchase. I’ve made a total of 6 trips to Rockville regarding this matter and it’s been a disaster.

This vehicle is a nightmare after warranty expires. I have had to replace several modules. But the most recent experience was a wire shorting out which resulted in complete loss of gearbox,ABS and power. The dealer took 8 weeks to diagnose the problem at a cost of $12,000!

SUV/Crossover most fun to drive

Best looking suv one on the market. No comparison. Bought S trim with supercharged V6 and 380hp and is super sporty. Same engine as the Jaguar F type. A little pricey but comes with a lot of standard features. Handles great. It really hugs the road. Pick up is great and very responsive. Very smooth 8-speed transmission. Interior very nice and intuitive. If you don’t want a typical suburb suv that looks the same as most others and want your time on the road not to be boring then consider this car or get the R Sport trim with the V6 340 hp engine. Has most of the options, but not the exceptional feature of configurable adaptive dynamics and adaptive surface response systems for the engine. There are many good cars in competition out there: Q5, Macan, X5, XC 90, GLE 300, etc. Tried them all. None drove as exciting as the F Pace.

I was a Mercedes Benz customer and have tried most luxury SUVs cars, but once we drove the F-Pace for the first time we knew this is the one. It is like driving a sports car in a Sedan platform, very responsive, suspension feels great and stability is surprisingly good. I have admit that cockpit is not my favorite, as the Velar it the best right now, but driving it is more fun than the Velar guaranteed

bought it so as one of the few rigs that would fit 3 child cars seats wide in the year short of some monster size SUV/truck/ Van. So now we have a fun grandma grandpa " sports car". Only complaint is the seat belt retract mechanism when using a booster seat. It gets hung up from time to time due to the angle that the belt comes out from and we have to check it every time, and when it does it does not retract.
