2014 INFINITI Q50 Premium 4dr Sedan AWD (3.7L 6cyl 7A)

Excellent car! Perfect size for the sport luxury sedan. Quality feel inside and out. Quiet cabin, only 3.7 liter engine roar when pushed. Tech features are really nice, easy to use. The car can literally drive itself on the highway, you must see this... No way you can rear-end anyone, with car braking for you. Around view monitor with those sonar and radar warnings beeping and pulsing making garage entry and exit just a breeze. But, the most importantly, when get bored with all that automation, slight push to the gas pedal is leaving the "crowd" behind. The only concern when that happens, those runflat Dunlop tires are stiff and noisy. Not expecting them to last either, luckily.

Best Features

Powerful ~330 hp engine, sporty ride, quiet cabin, quality built, expected reliability, safety features, comfy seats, driving mode selections (I counted around 2 dozens), tech features, auto-leveling headlights, primary rear-wheel drive, InTouch by Intel, Mobile app "talks" to the car and the car "talks" back :-)

Worst Features

Bose audio system settings are definitely affected by some bugs in InTouch app. No way it should sound like that. Hoping for fixes in the upcoming InTouch upgrades. Ventilated seats would be nice.

Now, after 4 month of using the car, and several arctic freezes, I'd like to raise the grade for the comfort. Steering wheel and seats get warm fast. Steering wheel gets unevenly warm, which allows me to select the preferable temperature spot. It seems that suspension is not that stiff any more, which I blamed on 19 inch wheels and run-flat tires (break in period?). Calling in to the conference calls while driving on the highway, having all driving-aid options on, no need to correct your trajectory every milli-second (it’s true even without driving-aid on). Then, I'd like specifically mention the handling in the snow. It's surprisingly uneventful and made me feel dangerously confident. Agree with other folks, the dealership staff might not been prepared for this car. Got firmware upgraded twice when new versions were released. Never had issues with navigation. Around-view monitor is available almost immediately after car starts. It takes about 30-40 seconds to completely load all apps. Again, I hope it'll take 5-10 sec... with future upgrades.
