Great Fun, Family, and Business car

2003 INFINITI G35 Luxury 4dr Sedan w/Leather (3.5L 6cyl 6M)

The G35 Sedan is a great answer for blancing requirements for Fun, Family and Business utility. FUN - great stick, incredible braking, very nice suspension and dynamics. I assessed Acura TSX, Maxima, BMW 3 and 5 series FAMILY - More space than the BMW 5, adeqaute substitue for the spacious Volvo 850 I traded in. Rear seating drivetrain hump is less obtrusive than most. Easy fit for my 6'4" frame. Business - luxury brand, amenities and features. Interior a notch below BMW and Acura. OVERALL - very pleased at this point with the value equation. Found the sales experience to be first rate believe service will be similar.

One word to describe the car...IMMACULATE. The car is both luxurious and sporty at the same time. Infinity really out did themselves this time. The car handles incredible and the acceleration is impressive. I drove the cadillac CTS, the Acura TL type S, but none come close to the new G35 especially if you are considering price.

I have always liked Infiniti for its service, reliability and luxury/price combination. With the G35, however, the automaker has built the best performing, most comfortable, beautifully-styled, sport sean in the market. And, again, backed by a great warranty, impeccable service and unfailing reliability.

Fit, finish & the solid "feel" is same or superior of product costing more. The driving experience is far superior to vehicles in same price range. For its "class" of competitors there is no comparison. My last two cars were European "G35 target" cars I considered in my buying decision. I'm glad I bought the G35.

I honestly expected more out of this car. I expected far more than Nissan gave me. But thats not to say this car is awful because that it is not. I needed a second commuter car with more room than a normal sports car and its done its job.

Infinitis new G35 hits the mark on almost every front. Power and handling are outstanding. Comfort is also a big plus. With two kids over 6 feet tall the Infiniti is the only sport sedan that would fit. Overall a great car.

Most fun ride I've ever had. Hope my next vehicle is somewhere close to it. A little short on tire and brake lives, but more than makes up for it on the pavement. Very roomy interior and trunk. Outstanding acceleration and handling. Had the factory sport suspension package so no lean in the corners, and no lift at all on the highway with the factory aero package. No complaints at all on this car.

Finally an affordable sports sedan that has the head and leg room for 4 tall adults that won't embarrass you at either a valet stand or a stoplight grand prix. Luxury features are found everywhere and are almost over the top for such a quick, well-balanced performer. The tight outside dimensions belie the interior comfort.

Most enjoyable car I have driven. Great handling, excellent braking and plenty of power when you need it. The car instills a sense of security when driving. A bit bland in exterior styling (I tend to prefer styles that are a bit quirkier) but does possess an understated combination of sportiness and elegance.

After much study & evaluation of BMW's, A4, CTS,Jag X,LS,SAAB, S-80 I finally made the cut to the G35 and I don't regret it at all. All the above are decent cars, but the G is far and away the best driving and looking. The power, style (garnet red)w/ all the features, aero, premium, xenons, htd seats, makes driving a plus. Handles excellent and the motor - what a gem- 260 hp, ready to rock n roll.

What a car. I have owned Toyotas, Ford, Mercedes, and this is the best car I have ever driven. I tested the Audi, the Lexus, The BMW, The Mercedes, The Nissan. The G35 is far superior to all of those, and it's much less money. This car handles like a dream, corners flat. The power is exciting and smooth. The style is out of this world. Infiniti has really improved, they are not just a dressed up Nissan anymore.

This car is fast and fun to drive. Very responsive and interesting. Much more nimble than a Acura TL type 'S'. Not your dime a dozen on the road Maxima. Not the greatest on gas, 21mpg city/higway but maybe that will improve. Great interior space for the size of the car. Corners mean nothing to this car - no exaggeration.

I have bought far too many cars over the past five years, 11 to be exact. Number twelve the G35 is by far the best riding sports sedan in its class. Anyone who buys a 3 series BMW or Lexus IS300 has obviously not taken a test drive in the new G.

Bought the car last April, love the look, handling and power. Have had one concern that has brought be back to the deal several times. If the car sits for a period of time and I back up and then place the car in drive I hear an annoying clunk. I've never heard this sound on any other cars I've owned. Deal says it the calipers adjusting. Has anyone else experianced this?

I have been in the Automotive business for 20 years plus and was a former STS owner. This is my first Import due to the nature of my business. The G-35 is a great Car.From the straight forwardness of the dealership to the vehicle itself. The interior controls are all common sense (Domestic Mfg's take Note!)as well as the comfort, fit and finish.I love to go anywhere with this car!The ride and handling is subperb and anyone looking for a class act try a G-35. Well Done Infinity!!!

I like the G35 overall but this car is not your usual reliable Japanese sedan. It has weird reliability issues: eg. the suspension lower arm link broken @ 35000miles, the brake squeak @ 38000miles, the dashboard light went out @ 44000miles...all those little things that drive you nuts because you would expect better from Infiniti. I wish I would've gotten an Acura instead (owned 3 of them in the past and had no problem whatsoever at least till 100,000 miles!).

Have just under 5000 miles. Reviewed it earlier and just doing an update. Reading other reviews most are spot on: great car but needs better interior. Gas mileage now as advertised. New it was not great. No problems except a very minor plasticky sound from back deck which I'll have fixed next time I'm at dealer. Fast, handles great. Wish I had gotten 6 speed but dealer would not let me test and would not order without a $5K deposit.

I came out of an Acura TL lease and looked at several in this class. Never owned a rear wheel drive but when the dealer took me for a ride and cut a turn at 50mph, I quickly became a fan of the rear wheel stability and the G35 with Sport suspension. The G35 may be the most fun car I have ever driven if you like power, sharp turning, and well, POWER.

During the summer months this car is a lot of fun to drive. I have been disappointed however with the winter performance (RWD model). It has a tendancy to slide around a lot, using all weather tires that cost about 900 dollars a set. Winter tires may help, but they seem hard to find here. The mileage has been satisfactory but nothing spectacular (maybe 16/22). I drive about 75 freeway and get up to speed rather quickly on city. I have had an issue with the cd player failing. The interior likes great, but has creaks and the door paint is rubbing on the silver areas, so build quality is so-so. Exterior is amazing, though paint chips easily.

This car is fast, to fast for american soil. I just got rid of a mazda millenia which i miss(but i'm over it). The only thing i think that is wrong with this car is that it gets terrible gas mileage, i literally see the gas gauge going down when i drive. I can't help go back to how fast this big car is. Top speed is 151 mph, we americans would never let one of ours go that fast unless it had a name to match it (corvette, mustang, camaro, etc). Big ups to infiniti, they should of issued us a gas station with this car though.

Only have 500 miles on it but have been impressed more and more every time I drive it. The sport package is worth the money, but chrome rims are in order. Interior layout is ergonomic with the exception of the seat controls. Bose stereo provides plenty of sound, but I'd rather listen to the song of the motor.

This is a tremendous vehicle. In fact, my wife is taking the car for herself. The G35 is a fun car to drive. Fit and finish are as perfect as I have seen on any car. Great accerlation and braking. Down side is no trip computer and the VDC and dimmer for the lights are in akward position. Any car you look for in 2002/3 this has to be on your list for sports cars. The price is nearly $10k cheaper than a BMW 330i.

Dealer called it a 2003 1/2. Infiniti raised the price for the Leather model $700, but made Xenon headlights standard, as well as the radio coming equipped for Satelite. The rear deck was redesigned for the better. Have Premium and Sport Package. When bought new with 11 miles, the tire pressure was 41 pounds all around. I reduced the pressure to 32 pounds and the car not only rides better - more supple - it actually handles better. The Bose radio disappoints - I found a solution: adjust treble to +3 and bass to -3. Only real gripe is the gas mileage. Gets 14 mpg in normal city driving.(95% stop and go city streets, 5% highway).
