I have been researching and researching before deciding on this car. I have never gotten so many double takes when going through a drive-thru or driving down the road!! This car is a LQQKER!!!!! I hear a bunch of complaints about the orange backlights, but I LOVE them !!!!!! I don't have a problem seeing with them at all!! The clock could definitely use a brighter light though. Another complaint I had was that the side view mirrors don't have a defrost unless you get the winter package. The room in the back seat is awesome and the reclining seats, a plus!! I love driving this car!! IT FLIES~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it gets great gas mileage too!!!!

This car has been produced in Japan for several years. American enthusiasts have been waiting for its arrival on American shores. Rechristened the G35, we now have the Skyline in America. To capsulize, it is fast, handles well, and is a steal for the money.

I can only say that this is one truly awsome automobile. Super styling, performance, and features. The nav system and Bose stereo put the icing on the cake. And for those that don't like the power seat controls in the side of the seat, try moving the passenger seat each time your child or figety passenger changes it all around. I can change it easily without bending over and pulling a muscle. This car has everything one could want in a 45K car but for around 35K

I drove the coupe but have a '78 280z, so waited till the manufacturer delivered the six speed sedans. Equipped with the preferred package, aero package (spoiler/rear wheel diffusers), and sunroof. Sweet/smooth/nice looking. It feels more like a coupe than sedan. Never drove anything else, so not much help as far as comparisons. Own an '01 Pathfinder and '00 Xterra, but the Infiniti nameplate does provide a longer warranty and the quality of the leather and some other materials may be a step above a Nissan, but it's still Nissan and that means a strong engine, responsive chassis, and a quality product from front to rear.

I wasn't in a market for a car and I have always owned Nissan, but always wanted a G35. I bought my G35 for $3000 at 155000 miles because I know they last for very very long time. It has all the services done for the mileage on the car, Fully loaded nav (with 2008 updated disk $190), sunroof, reclining back seats, cd changer. I love how this thing drives after having a 155000 miles on it. It is still aggressive, when you step on it it moves. I have taken this car up to 125mph on a track with out a problem. All the feature works great without any problem. Even at 155000 miles, retail on this car is $11000. Over all I couldn't have asked for more, for the price I paid, it is a steal.

To be honest, I didn't expect this Infiniti to be this good, its engine, styling, transmisson, brake and extensive feature contents make it impossible to beat. It cost less than 35k when fully loaded, compare to the Bimmer, it's a bargain. This Infiniti matches or exceeds BMW in terms of handling, braking, accelerating, overall build quality and reliability. This is one great car from Nissan, thank you!!

Love the G35 luxury/sport package. Great handling and performance. Drove the BMW 3 series and 5 series, as well. 330 handles similarly, but not quite as fast and not close to having G35's interior room. 5 series as roomy but can't touch the handling. Best balance of luxury, performance, and value...makes me look forward to every drive. Buy one today!!!

I had it for a month now, and the driver seat is making a sequicky noise, what a shame! I owned a Dodge before, for about 4 years, and never had to take it to the service even once for warranty problem, except for a light bulb. I have expected a much better reliability for a 33K car, well I guess stuff happens. On the other hand engine is superb, 6MT is really good, but the shifter is rattling all over the place. Interior quality is OK, not as good as Audi or BMW, but the leather quality is much better. If 330, or A4 6cyl was not so expensive I would have chosen BMW or the Audi.

I've owned the car for six months, here is list of problems I've had: CDs stuck in CD changer, had to replace the whole unit two recalls whistling sounds from the engine squicking breaks servcie... it's awful. I went to two service centers: one in Brooklyn, another one in Long Island, Able Infniti. It's a headache. In first case they wouldn't give me a loaner, just beacuse I didn't buy a car from them, in another case they called me 15 minutes before they closed to tell me that my car is ready, and when I got there there was nobody there, but they charge me extra for keeping a loaner for another day

I've been happily driving my G35 for 3 weeks now and I still cannot contain my excitement. This car is a real head turner coupled with great speed and performance. I'm a speed demon and this car definitely complements my style. It was down to the wire between this car and the A4. Ultimately, my love of Japanese cars took over and I couldn't be more pleased.

My best car was a maxima. I havent had experience with the luxury sport cars and could not afford them before. I have enjoyed this car every day I've driven it. I didnt realize what control really felt like. Now maybe ill get rich and buy all the others, but I feel fortunate to have evaluated Acura, Lexus, BMW and came to Infiniti to get so much for the price. I love the design of the car too.

The power is fantastic (I would have bought a 6 speed if avail. but the manual shift is great too). Everything about this car is top notch!

A great car. Fun to drive and looks great in red. Rear reclining seats add comfort for back seat passengers. Most options should be standard on an INFINITI. The premium package should be standard. The side mirrors should be included in the memory function with the seats and standard equipment. The only options should be the wood package, sport package, heated seats, sun roof, cloth seats, and maybe the aero package. An INFINITI deserves everything else as standard equipment. My 1992 Diamante has more standard items than the G35. When you look at an Acura TL you know what equipment it has, almost everything is standard.

Nissan/Infinity needs to do some work, but is slowly getting there with the G35. I cannot figure out how the engines in the sedan and the coupe differ? Crafty Nissan/Infinity marketing explains the difference of 20 hp between the sedan and the coupe. This is also the same engine as the '03 Nissan Z and the '03 Nissan Altima 3.5. Nissan uses the same engines and expects the public to believe they are somehow different? No amount of "tweaking" the air intake or the exhaust can illicit an extra 20 hp! Who are they fooling?

I have had the car about 10 months. Great car overall no mechanical problems. Took car in for 15K service. Given estimate for $200. Left with $870 bill. The front brake rotors had to be replaced and the front and rear pads needed to be replaced. I found out that on virtually ALL the G35s the rotors needed to be replaced at around the 15K service. Infiniti is aware of this problem of "soft rotors" but so far has not considered this a warrantee issue. My dealer gave me a 10% discount to bring the bill to less than $900 - lucky me. IF Infiniti does not take care of this problem I will try to get rid of the car. Too bad since I like it. BEWARE

I had been looking at pre-owned 540s for about six months and at one point had actually gotten close to forking out $38K for a 2000 540 sport/premium with some (but not all) of the options I wanted. I walked away from that deal and am glad I did because it gave me the chance to test drive the G35 sedan! WOW! Drive it and you'll want one right away! I was able to get a NEW G35 with ALL the options I wanted (sport suspension, premium pkg, aero pkg, and nav system) and still saved about $4K over a USED 540! The G35 absolutely ROCKS!...Drives great and you feel great driving it too!

My vehicle is Emerald Mist, Premium, Xenon, Wood, NAV and Winter packages. I have not regretted purchasing this value. My dealer experience has been outstanding. The car has performed flawlessly. It has only been returned for it first oil change at 5000 miles. This is my first foreign car. I have always owned american (domestic) vehicles -- Pontiacs, Buicks, Lincolns and most recently a 1999 Chrysler 300M. This car has been an eyeopener as what a truly nice car can be -- acceleration, braking are without comparison. The interior room is amazing since the car has small exterior dimensions. I would strongly recommend this car.

Gas milage about 19. I am surprised at how good it handles in the snow, anti skid works great in slippery condintions.

Traded in my G35 yesterday with 95k. Owned it since new. Overall a wonderful car and experience. Never a mechanical problem. Over the last 8 months, wiper motor, window motor and ac fan went with likely more to come. Otherwise regular 30k service from a good independent was fine. I allowed him to put in standard brakes rather than Infiniti for a good savings w/o substantial loss of braking performance. Winter driving with RWD was a problem solved with Blizzak snows. The high level of performance and reliable driving pleasure that this car gave me at a reasonable cost should not be lost. It was a blast to drive to work or explore the backroads. A lot of bang for the buck!!

I traded a 96 Q45-- a hard act to follow since I was used to a strong V8 and smooth ride. But the G35 is just as fast and, of course, handles so much better. The old Q was never anything to look at, I really like the looks of my G35. I added a Stillen exhaust and got a slightly throatier sound coupled with a tiny but better performance.

Since I'm a bit paranoid about disobeying the rules regarding redlining the car before the "breaking- in" period has finished, I've forced myself to settle with far greater speed than the BMW 325, Audi A4, and countless others. The interior acts as if it has grown around the driver. Also, the seat... it's like an old baseball glove; it just fits.

Last cars have been 325i, M3, and 328Ci. The competition is catching up at lower prices. The G35 seems to handle as well, is faster, quieter at speed. Still not the reputation of BMW, and probably not the resale, but expect better reliability. It's the closest that I have found at $9000 savings ($32.2 w/$34.1 msrp, vs.$41 for the new 330Ci).

I've searched for six months, looking at the BMW 330xi, BMW 525i, Lexus ES300, Honda Accord (240HP), Toyota Camry and Maxima. I have test driven all of these cars and none match the overall performance of the G35. This car was well designed and is priced very reasonably. I love the rounded curves of the exterior and the interiore (leather) is extremely comfortable. Except for eating some serious fuel, this car is awesome!

This car fits my needs perfectly, as the Audi A4 was too small, the local BMW dealership is less than reputable, the IS300 was a small overpriced mess and the value-packed TL Type-S was lacking passion. I have found my car. Some reviewers say that the G35 approaches the ride quality of the BMW 3-series, but I'm here to tell you that it SURPASSES it. An easy purchase decision.

After driving a Camry for 3 years, it's quite a change to move into a G35. First impression while on the road is that people are looking at you! This car is striking, sleek and nicely designed. Plus all that power is really nice on the road. The handling is tidy and the one I have does not have that touchy of a brake pedal like many have reported. Interior is excellent with great layout and nice material. Overall very good car, and very good price too.

Yes, the fuel economy is horrible and yes the brakes do go out too soon and yes the idea of controlling the radio and the air conditioner with the same part is not wise (have had experiences with it all), but still, to be an owner of this car, to look at it and drive it is out of this world. Major trunk space! I can't wait to own my next Infiniti. Bring it on!

I had been shopping for a new ride since last fall. Lots of choices...A4, 330i, Passat, C-class, Maxima, Altima...it seemed I would never decide. Then I was introduced to the G35. Wow, what a machine. I put a deposit on in the first day I saw it (while my wife was away on business). She started talking to me again once she saw it and felt the ride. Now she loves me again!...and so does everyone else. This car is awesome

May I tell you - this is an AWESOME CAR to drive! In order to purchase a car, I had taken the time to test drive several cars (A4,Passat, I35,IS300,TL and 3series). Even with a second drive, the end result was the same... hands down, G35 was the best out of all of them. The car has a solid feel to begin with. It's acceleration and the ability to take on corner is absolutely amazing. Yet, even though it has a very sporty look and ride to it, it is nevertheless, very comfortable to drive. It feels as if you're driving a sports car but with all the amenities of a fine luxury european sedan.

I was looking a car for my son and took test drive of BMW 330, MB C320, Audi A4 3.0, and G35. G35's performance is the best among them. However, BMW 330 might have a slightly better handling. Overall, G35 clearly delivers better value than the rest. To those people who think I am cheap....go fish!!! I have 2000 Porsche 911 Turbo and 2001 Acura MDX in my garage.
