Used 2004 Hyundai XG350 Consumer Reviews
Trust me, buy this car and be happy
I have been driving my new GX350L since April this year. I am very satisfied with this vehicle. I am so proud of myself purchasing it. You pay so little for what you get in the car in comparison to the other cars in the similar class. I test drove Honda Accord, Toyota Camry and Nissan Maxima but nothing has come close to GX350L. The interior of the car is very luxurious, comfortable and sophisticated. I would say this is a cheap mans Lincoln. You will be happy, too when you purchase a GX350L.
Ok car, but not a Toyota
I have now owned this vehicle for about 14 months. Overall, I am satisfied that I got what I paid for (having bought it used in good condition, cheap). It recently started running very rough. I went to dealership and they said plug wires rotted after 4 years is "common" for Hyundai. Hyundai calls this "wear and tear" and will not warranty. I had heard weak reviews on their actual execution on their so- called "America's Best Warranty" and I now have first hand knowledge. If you can buy it cheap, and in good shape, not a bad ride. But I will not buy a new Hyundai as their warranty promises clearly are not kept, in my opinion and experience. Back to Toyota I go.
ONE YEAR IN THE SADDLE
I HAVE OWNED MY XG350 FOR ONE YEAR NOW. AFTER 35000 MILES (I TRAVEL A LOT) THE CAR HAS NOT SEEN THE SHOP EXCEPT FOR OIL CHANGES. I LOVE IT! I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY CAR REVIEWERS COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS CAR'S HANDLING. THE CAR IS FAST, TIGHT, AND VERY QUIET. 70MPH=2100RPM,THE RED LINE IS 6500RPM ENOUGH SAID! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GREAT CAR FOR A REASONABLE PRICE CHECK IT OUT.
2004 best model yet
Having owned a 2002 XG350L I can honestly say the 2004 is a significant improvement. The 02 had the shift quality problem but the 04 does not exhibit this. I love everything about the XG. The cosmetic upgrades are great and made an expensive looking car even better. This car should be classified in the ranks of Lexus and Infinity. Have owned 4 Hyundais since 2001 before this I only bought GM. Hyundai is now my car company, It has proven itself to me with my previous ownership experience. I am happy to report NO PROBLEMS on any of my Hyundais.
130k and going strong
I bought the XG with 13K now have 132K. It has performed excellently. Changed the timing belt at 70k and will change it again at 140K. Expect to drive to 250K. Local dealer wants my car, evidently in demand some where. I think I will by a Genesis next if the dealer is dealing. thanks
