Used 2022 Hyundai Tucson Limited 4dr SUV AWD (2.5L 4cyl 8A) Consumer Reviews
Love This Car
This car has everything I ever wanted in a small SUV. I fell on love with this car back in Oct. of 2020 when Korea announced it was coming out. I finally purchased this car 2 weeks ago. I am not disappointed at all. I love the center console on the Limited model. It is so great to have a 10.3 inch screen. I never owned a car that allows you to have a split screen. I am able to see what is playing on the radio and see the map on the same screen. This car allows you to voice commands, from making phone calls, to turning the radio station on, to navigating to your local McDonalds. Just say the word and the car does what you want. There are also buttons on the steering wheel to change music stations, and volume. Some reviews complained there were no buttons for radio or volume. Not true. I also love that when you put on your directional, the camera shows you the blind spot on that side. The 360 camera is so clear and large on the screen. Pulling into a parking spot is so easy with the front camera. My model comes with a large panoramic sunroof which brightens the car, and brings in soft breezes when open. This car has memory seats, which makes it easy for two different drivers. The front seats have heated seats and cool seats for summer driving. The rear seats are heated and recline. The tailgate automatically opens if you stand behind it with your packages. There is so much more to write about You will not be sorry. Go out and order your 2022 Tuscon Limited now.
Technology FAILED at 1900 miles / No Solution
Review title summarizes my frustration. Car has been back at Dealer since 5/25 (nearly 8 weeks !). Corporate Field Techs have run out of suggestive solutions. 5 new parts suggested all failed. There is an electric current problem that nobody knows how to resolve. Customer Care dept is useless too — Case Manager gone quiet. Be warned. It’s great to have all the bells & whistles but at 1900 Miles on a brand new vehicle is weird. No solution in sight is weirder ! Be careful

The good and the bad about the 2022 Hyundai Tucson
This is my third Hyundai, so you could say I favor the brand. I had a 2021 Tucson Ultimate that got totaled and replaced it with the new re-designed 2022 Tucson Limited. I have only had the vehicle for about a month, but can say the comfort and technology is a huge upgrade from the previous. I didn’t realize the technology was so behind in the 2021 model until I got this one. The 2022 Tucson design definitely is different, but I love the styling once I got use to it. I did shop around some other brands and this new model was a lot more comfortable, quieter, and spacious than most of its competitors. The digital cockpit/tachometer makes it feel upscale. Also, love that when I signal not only do I have blind spot but cameras that show in the tachometer of my view. The safety features are also more advanced and makes alerting sounds compared to others that are just visual. It also has ventilated front seats and rear heated seats which some others don’t offer. This car also has “smart park” which is a cool feature but a feature that I will probably rarely use. Now the cons…The gas tank is very small on this vehicle and short on range. The most I can get on a range is around 300 miles. It’s very annoying to have to constantly feel like you’re having to get gas on long trips. Also, the LED headlights are great but would have been nice to have adaptive headlights or fog lights for better cornering at night. A must that I think should have been on this vehicle for the price point was automatic fold in mirrors. The biggest con is the small gas tank and range. I’m averaging 23-25MPG in the city and 27-30MPG on the highway. The power is decent, but you’ll notice some lag when trying to accelerate. Wish they did offer a turbo engine. Overall, I’m happy with this vehicle and would definitely recommend for consideration for your next vehicle!

Love the drive and comfort!
Roomy redesign of the 2022 Tucson has made this car most attractive! Was comparison shopping between the 2022 Santa Fe and the 2022 Tucson Limited as our 2019 Santa Fe was recently totaled. Thankful to Hyundai engineering as the occupant had very minor injuries. We also own a 2016 Tucson, so was quite impressed with the changes to the front seating comfort (headrest in the 2016 model was uncomfortable for long trips) and the additional space in the 2nd row. Cabin is quiet and the ride is smooth and responsive. Acceleration is more than adequate for a non turbo engine. The turbo is only offered in the hybrid model. Hyundai offers so many upscale standard features when comparing to competitors. The comfortable seating, roomy interior, increased gas mileage and lower pricing made the Tucson a win over the Santa Fe.

Worst decision I have ever made!
While Hyundai has a very good reputation and warranty if you happen to have gotten a 'lemon' don't expect either the dealer or Hyundai to honor the warranty. I liked the car but mine has had constant recurring computer problems that have put my life in danger multiple times. They only say 'if we can't duplicate the problem we can't fix it' which leaves me in a real world of hurt. Hyundai won't issue parts unless it can be (computer module) absolutely proven without a doubt that it's bad. I was service manager for years working with computer driven equipment and the only way to determine with certainty that it's bad is to replace it and find out. I called Hyundai's customer satisfaction line, got a case number and never heard back even after 4 calls to try and talk to someone. It seems that they have no interest in customer satisfaction. I'm now done with trying to communicate with Hyundai the car is so unsafe to drive that I spent $9000 to get out of it and got what I know is a good car - a Subaru Forester. Should have bought that to start with but the Tucson was much prettier.
