Shocked how nice
I have to admit I was not expecting the Tucson to impress. But I was really blown away with how nice it was. We decided on the Sport. It is nice looking, comfortable and running great. Took road trip to Arizona from So Cal and did 80 mph constant no problem. It certainly isn’t the quickest, but for my 16 yr old daughter it does just fine. I am a little disappointed in gas mileage and rather small gas tank. But if that’s the biggest gripe, I can live with that.

Some What Disappointed
I purchased a 2020 Tucson in January of this year. I have had the car for almost 6 months. There are some good points and there are some bad points. Mostly I am disappointed with the lagging acceleration. There is simply not enough power from a standing start. The small 2.0 engine just hasn't got the power it needs from a standing start. Shifting is sloppy, jumping in and out of low range, then back and forth into a higher range. Overall the MPG far exceeds estimates. Combined highway and city I average 34.5 mpg. I like the warranty 5 years or 60,000-mile, bumper to bumper. I am a conservative driver, no jackrabbit starts, etc. A problem with the body is the doors. You literally have to slam them to close them tightly. I have the same problem with the gas cap door. I thought I would like the lane-keep system but found it more annoying than helpful. The overall ride is very good and the road noise is acceptable. The question is would I buy this car again? My answer is, NO.

Extremely pleased so far !
I've had my eye on a Hyundai Tuscon for nearly a year and finally decided to take the plunge. And I am extremely happy that I did. I thought about test driving some other SUVs but didn't bother. I just think the exterior styling of the Tuscon is top shelf. In my opinion, styling wise, it competes with an SUV like a Lexus. Beautiful lines, very well designed. I was trying to decide between the Sport and Limited trim levels. I am glad I went with the Limited, even though I love the 19" rims on the sport. The limited has some extra options that I find very nice along with a very nicely done leather interior. Very comfortable seats and extremely comfortable to drive. The sight lines are excellent helping you too see traffic all around. Plus safety features like lane departure warning, and blind spot warning really are nice touches. The engine is responsive as is the steering and handling. You can switch to Sport drive mode which makes the engine and steering even more responsive, and yes you can notice the difference. Though I imagine the drawback is that MPG could be affected a bit. I literally just picked up the Tuscon a week ago and took it on a road trip to New Hampshire, so I already have 300 miles. But it's been an absolute pleasure to drive. Also the Infinity sound system is quite impressive. Very well balanced, plenty of bass. And I am very particular about audio both in my cars and at home. If all continues as it has this first week, I will be looking forward to years of driving pleasure with this Tuscon Limited. I think it's a perfect mix of comfort, convenience, driveability and just downright excellent exterior styling. And on top of all that is the best warranty in the business. Hard to beat.

Best SUV !
I Just Purchased the 2.0L Preferred AWD Model and I love it. Very smooth handling, quiet, stylish, and roomier than expected. The only thing that could be better is the fuel economy. However, in the city, I'm getting 640km out of a tank so that's pretty good! I can't wait to test it in the Canadian winter in a few months here, from what I've read online the locking differential will definitely come in handy. Don't listen to the haters who want to crap on Hyundai, this SUV is way better built than my 2009 Toyota Rav 4 and I'm a licensed mechanic of 12 years. Update: Winter has been no problem for the Tucson, it has handled really well in deep wet snow the HTRAC AWD is amazing.

Works the Best For Me....
Nice small SUV and handles well. As consumer report recommends, and I agree with, probably best to get the 2.4 liter engine upgrade. It's just a smoother driving experience. I test drove the Mazda CX-5, it handled well, but the dashboard and controls were a nightmare. I test drove the Subaru Crosstrek, it was ok, but my knee kept on knocking into the center console....can't man spread with that car.....in short, the Hyundai Tucson worked best for me.
