I debated between small SUV hybrids: CX-5, NX, RAV4 and CR-V. Settled on the CR-V Touring Hybrid - the most expensive CR-V model. I’ll only state my negatives. Other than these items, I have no other negatives at this point of ownership. After 2.5 months of ownership, my overall MPG has averaged only 31.6 over 2,300 miles. This is around 50/50 highway and city. I drive in eco mode and am very light footed on the gas. This is the first car I’ve owned that I didn’t exceed a manufacturer’s stated MPG. Another reviewer mentioned the side seat boosters going too high. I agree. I noticed this in nearly every car I test drove. It’s not comfortable. Another issue is occasional sudden breaking while using the cruise with nothing in front of me. I don’t know what triggers the breaking - it occurs during the day and at night. I’m afraid someone will eventually rear end me as a result. The Navigation map is a couple years out dated. It tries to route me down roads that no longer exist. Otherwise I like the vehicle. My biggest disappointment is the MPG. Had I known it was going to be this low, I would have selected a different vehicle.

I did research and read where people were getting great gas mileage. I was looking forward to that. However this has not happened in my CR-V Sport Touring Hybrid. I can't seem to get over 31.4 mpg. I have a friend who has the regular CR-V and they get 34 mpg. I am also disappointed that I had to buy a spare donut tire and I know if there is a blow out up in the mountains and no cell service, it's not going to go well. The shoulder harness adjusted all the way down still rubs my neck, needs to be able to adjust lower. The driver's power seat does not raise up enough for me. I am 5'6, I shouldn't be having these 2 issues since I did not have them in other cars I've owned. About the only thing I can say positive about is there is good room for legs in the back seat. I wish I could hear a good click when I lock the doors, it's so quiet I have to lean down and try and hear it. I can only hope and pray the doors are locked when I leave it. I like the color, it's silver and I like the black wheels. At a distance, its a nice looking car. Just wished I was happy with it. And I'm not. I have to like my car, and I don't. I'm already car shopping again and I just rolled up 2000 miles. So far no infotainment issues like other. Already have 2 recalls, and I owned it for 2 months. Parts won't be in for another 2 months. One is something to do with the gas line, the other is a steering issue. Nice Honda. Dealer knew about these issues and sold the car anyway.

So happy I got this car 2025 CRV (EXL). I had the 2020 CRV LX, a good car but just the basic model. The EXL looks and rides quiet and smooth. I’m sure Kia and Hyundai are good cars ( especially when they’re new), but I wanted a vehicle that is proven to last longer with a good ride.

I bought a 2025 EXL model in August, when I test drove it I didn’t notice the road noise at the time. The more I drive it the more noticeable it gets, especially on the highway.
