Small but Mighty!
Great value. Has everything you could want and more! So far I am very pleased with this vehicle. Although smaller than my last vehicle, it doesn’t feel small. Lots of interior room! Has great pick up and gets good gas mileage too!

Luv my CR-V!
It's been 14 years since I last purchased a new car...my 2005 Honda CR-V was the best car for over 208,000 miles with minimal maintenance throughout my tenure! I haven't had my 2019 CR-V for long, but it rides so smoothly and provides all the amenities I could want. I highly recommend this vehicle if you're looking for a solid, well made car that will be reliable and provide terrific resale.

2019 Honda CR-V EX-L
I was looking at several vehicles in this category and I chose the CR-V. It's rooming, comfortable, plenty of safety features, power is good and it was priced better than my other choices. If the reliability of Honda holds true, I'll be very satisfied with my CR-V.
Better than average but
Better than average suv for its class however no one would give a good deal even though we went last week of the year. Pros. Excellent mileage and smooth transmission. Cons. Without leather option seats were ugly and lowere models did not include safety features like the Hyundai Santa Fe which ended up costing less and more style and room

Exceeds expectations
Smooth ride, great economy, superior safety package. Well engineered to provide maximum comfort and ease of use. After nearly 5 years, still flawless performance. Road noise is higher than expected, however.

Electronic brake
I never use it. Went to gym, came out and electronic brake was on. Car not drivable as all warning lights were on. Towed to dealer. Found problem with roof harness and some loose connections that caused short. Repairs - 3300 $. Electronic brake IMO is dangerous if it deploys while driving. Hand brake worked well for years!

Best car ever!
This car has lots of room, 5 people with no problem. Storage space in the back is roomy and with the seats down there is lots of extra room for carrying things. The extras like GPS and sirius are useful for me, blue tooth hook up is great for playing my own music. It's been great for traveling north through the mountains in W. Virginia, and I love the blind spot warnings for both the left and right side of the vehicle; the back up camera is a huge improvement from my 2016 car. I can't imagine needing anything in a car that this one doesn't have.

Fantastic Day
It's a great car lots of room. Go slower to understand all the bells and whistles. It's fantastic vehicle. Snappy goes faster than you realize. Turning radius is great. Doesn't have rear pockets for flashlight or first aid kit. Love the heated seats.

Very happy Honda
Really happy with the CR-V, great mileage and performance. Fun to drive and no issues to date. Glad we bought it. S5+ years now and no problems. At 32k replaced the Yokohama tires with Bridgestone Tourismo. Best thing we could have done. Very quiet totes and great traction. Still very happy with our 2019 CR-V Touring vehicle. Great mileage and ride, does all we need.

Value Engineered
I feel like the CR-V was designed by accountants to beat each major category in its segment at the expense of character & details that while unmeasured, really matter. I have a 2019 AWD Touring. Things I like: Engine & Transmission - the 1.5 Turbo has great acceleration for its class, shaming the Forester, RAV4, Tiguan, & CX-5. It’s still a far cry from the BMW X1 or Volvo XC60 though. Cargo Room - unparalleled by its class except for the Forester. Flat folding seats, lots of height for storage, very good here. Things I don’t like: Style: it only looks good from the side or top. The rear and front are fairly hideous. Slight improvement in 2020. Fuel Economy: I get about 26MPG on long road trips in Eco mode & about 22 MPG around town. The fuel economy is not as good as advertised. Fuel Tank Capacity: it’s like 12 gallons. What is this, 1995? Windshield wiper fluid tank: the car does not tell you when the fluid is low and the tank only holds half as much as every other car I ever drove. It’s always unexpectedly empty. Fog lights: are you serious? The car has great LED headlights, they are perfect. The fog lights are some crappy halogen ones that both burned out in 5000 miles. Looks like Honda saved about $20 by putting in fog lights from a 1991 Accord rather than just upgrading to LED units. Things I loathe: Seat comfort: the CR-V Touring has very nice looking seats, and sitting in them for 2 hours or less is fine. Long trips are torture. I’m 6’1” tall @ 190lbs. The seat cushion material is the same as economy class seats on budget airlines. It’s just hard merciless foam that causes your butt to start hurting after a few hours. Furthermore, the steering wheel adjustments are not sufficient enough so you cannot drop your hand to your lap and hold the bottom of the wheel for short term relief on long drives. Your arms must always be suspended in the air perpendicular at all times. The seat headrests are STUPID. They are not designed for comfort or ergonomics. They push your head forward so your upper back cannot meet the top 20% of the seat back, making it so you are hunching forward. The head rests are not adjustable except for up/down. The leg room is nearly insufficient for someone of my height. With cruise control on, the only option to rest the right foot is to put it UNDER the gas pedal or pull your knee up. If your knee is up then the kneecap sits exactly against the hard plastic unpadded corner of the obtrusive shifter housing. Seriously, the seats are terrible. After a 6 hour drive I am dying to get out of the car. It’s exactly the feeling of being on a long flight. My previous 5 cars were a 2018 MINI Clubman, 2012 MINI Countryman, 2013 MINI Cooper, 2001 Saab 9-3, and 1989 Honda Civic DX. I drove every single on of those cars across the country except for the civic, and the seats were not an issue. The only exception was the Civic, the seats were junk, but this was 1989 on a budget car. Infotainment: ok Give me a break with this. The interface is OK, but definitely outdated. What is unforgivable is the processing power. I have a 3rd Gen IPad which is about 20 years old running the latest IOS. It is far faster than my 2019 CR-V running tech that debuted in 2017. Its unforgivably laggy. There is a 1 second delay when hitting buttons or trying to access menus. I would assume the cost to Honda to use better Hardware would have run less than $100, they did the bare minimum. Also after using BMW IDrive, I cannot help but to laugh at the navigation. It’s like an early 2000’s Garmin. It’s not even remotely acceptable as a back system. Thank god for CarPlay.

Have your jumper cables ready!
Great car if you can get it to start. Battery dies after sitting only 2 days. I’ve had multiple jumps. 2 Tows by AAA. Battery changed 3x. It’s a 2019 with only 35k miles. I was a loyal Honda buyer but I’m thinking to change brands. Unacceptable!

Honda Loyal
I love the SUV. I've only owned Accords. I'm missing some of my compartment spaces. Safety features are great. I wish there was a 360° camera and not just the back. Learning something new about it everyday. The 'high' weathermats could be a lot higher and cover up much exposed carpet. They are just incomplete. These are all details though. The meat of the car is really great!

Best Car for your $
Wife and i bought a 2019 CR-V EX in AWD , it's worth the extra $1500 to go to the mid grade EX model as you get so many more extra features than the base model, it also gets better gas mileage and has a more powerful and better engine, Tons of room inside for driver and passengers as well as cargo area, lots of handy storage spots, fun to drive with many safety features and handles great on the road and in the snow too. I researched all the other makers and i can tell you that the Honda CR-V EX AWD is your best choice, also has best resale value , you'll be happy with it.

The painting is worse
I did bought 2019 Honda CR-V in dec 2018 after using for 5 months when I did my servicing at Honda world Louisville. I am seeing that few paints have been gone out like small dirts. Looks like the quality of paint they use is so worse else I have not seen any other cars whose paints comes out within 6 months of purchase.

Desired Upgrade Model - Outpriced Our Budget
Very limited desired amenities in lower trim model compared to other vehicles. To get desired upgrades such as infotainment, safety cameras, guidance system, climate dual control just to mention a few priced it right out of our price range. There were no incentives or manufacturer's rebates offered. We loved the vehicle, and it was originally our first choice. Had we been offered a better deal, we would be driving a 2019 Honda CRV EX.

All Around Great Vehicle
The Honda CRV is without doubt the best in its class. I have test driven other SUVs in this class, but none of them match up with the CRV. My wife drives a 2016 Honda CRV and that vehicle has proven to meet our three critical criteria for vehicle ownership over the past three years. It is safe, it is reliable, and it is durable. I have no doubt the 2019 I purchase for my use will be the same. In addition, Honda has obviously taken the time to incorporate customer recommendations for improvements, especially in the area of safety. I look forward to taking delivery of my 2019 CRV in the near future. Then we will have 2 CRVs in our garage. You may pay more for a Honda CRV, but the value proposition more than compensates for the additional cost. In short, you get what you pay for.

Terrible purchase
I'm pretty sure this car has tried to kill me. It has this feature that if it thinks you are going to hit something it slams on the breaks. This has happened about 5 times and there is nothing you can do when it happens. I can't believe I haven't been rear ended. When it snows the radar detection goes out. All the safety features stop working. No cameras. The car will not alert you that there is another car in the lane you are trying to merge into. The heater is terrible and the ac isn't great. I can let it run for 20 minutes and its still not at a good temperature. My car only has 11,000 miles. I do not recommend this car to anyone.

Not the best SUV on the market
For a 2019 SUV, the features are subpar, at best. Screen is tiny, and the body is too bulky (i’ve also driven plenty on subaru’s newest crosstrek & forester models). with this car — there’s no option for “auto” lights and seat warmers, which a lot of newer models have. also no touch start, which is also what a lot of newer models have. i will also say that the interior isn’t the best. the cloth is very cheap and will look even cheaper one year down the road. i love how spacious it is, and the all-weather mats but it’s definitely lacking in some areas. oh & for some reason, when turning on AC, it’s blowing 73 degree air. it got so warm in the car, i was so confused (the car has 75 miles on it!! this should not be happening)

it is a really cheap car in every detail welding spots visible in doors as it is was assembled in a garage I was shocked when I was driving back home for the engine noise sound it is like an old boat engine I realize I made a wrong decision engine lack of acceleration and it is not worth the money you invest in that car I definitely will return it after my lease contract will end

Tremendous power for a 2.4 L. Not a smooth drive like my 2018 Odyssey but ok. From Georgia to New York very comfortable with plenty of room for long legs. Wonderful toy ! Rough ride when brand new, but after 600 miles like a feather!

The little engine that couldn't
I would have purchased this vehicle if it had a "real" engine (for example a V6), a conventional automatic transmission, and more insulation to reduce drone on the highway. The Passport seems to address most of these shortcomings, but was too large.

Previous CRV owner
After lots of research and 14 years with a fine '05 AWD CRV, we didn't even turn the key in the '19. The Honda stylists trumped the safety people starting about '07 and it has only gotten worse. Specifically, the view out the back side window and rear window is a real step back. I don't want to rely on a backup camera that may be dirty when backing nor do I want a poor view when watching to see someone in the lane to my right. The sad part is that the styling may be trendy but the '05 not only provided a much better view but it looked better too, in the opinion of this truck lover.
