Used 2017 Honda CR-V SUV Consumer Reviews
Rain Drops
Has anyone experienced when it rains that you your inside driver door where the rubber drains that rain stands in the car and when you open the door rain drips (if too close) on my shoes. Plus the frame beneath my seat retain water and if I'm getting in the door my dress/skirt or pants gets wet getting and/or of the vehicle. In the addition, the driver's rear passenger side does the same. Also, where the tail gate frame closes that somehow when I lift the gate it is wet. I'm not happy about this since I bought my car a month ago. I took it back to the dealership and they said "oh! that's just the way they made the vehicle". I didn't agree and was told they would check with the engineers and get back in a couple of days - nope! NO WORD SINCE THEN. If I could turn the car back in I would in a heart beat because of this problem. Who wants to carry a paper towel in hand when it rains.

The CR-V is good, but not great.
The level of quality in this new Honda is not as high as I would have expected. I've been to the dealer three times with one repair taking 7 hours and the other vibration issue in the front end extending to the steering wheel unresolved. Tires were re-balanced to no avail. Ultimately, the dealer said I should think of getting rid of the vehicle before the warranty ends. That's a stellar vote of confidence in the products they sell. The interior is nice and the seats are mostly comfortable, though not for all. The infotainment system has been working well and is easy to navigate. The paint is very soft and chips very easily. So easily that touch-up paint should be included with your purchase. Gas mileage is great, but acceleration is weak with the 1.5 T. Overall, the vehicle is okay, but I would not purchase again. This is one of those one and done situations. I wish good luck to all who purchase...

Poor exterior fit and finish
Fenders, hood are misaligned. Large and uneven gaps. Adjacent sheet metal surfaces do not flow together. Excessive panel adhesive on interior of all doors leaves raised rough surfaces. Other than crude finish, seems to be a decent car. After three weeks of ownership, I'll see what the dealership will do. Wish me luck! Update to dealer visit: According to dealer tech, I will have to live with the poor build quality. Also, your CR-V, came out of Canada and does not have the quality of 2016 and previous generations. Look around the lot, the 2017's aren't that well made. If we try to improve alignment of hood and fenders, we could make it worse. What a great buying experience. I will get into a Chevy, sooner than later.

My 0.02 cents
Owned it for about a month so far and I'm both disappointed and impressed about different features/quirks of this car. On the positive side quality of materials and technology is very impressive for a Honda giving this thing good value. But on the driving dynamics front it's a complete garbage. Acceleration is very lethargic, cvt is trash because it doesn't know what to do most of the time and there's a jerk around 25mph when you step on the gas pedal lightly. Fuel economy is around 23mpg in NYC mixed driving. Breaks are terrible and steering leaves a lot to be desired due to vagueness and sloppy response. Looking on rear exhaust it already looks like it will rust away in a season or two because welds already turning orange. My local chop shop does same quality exhausts as Honda did here. My advice if you are coming from any kind of decent driving car to this you will be terribly disappointed. It does many things well but none great. As point A to B appliance it'll do and nothing more.

Awesome Vehicle
This model is so much more advanced in every aspect compared to the 2016 CRV. I traded my 2016 in for the 2017 so I really know what I'm talking about. The wife and I just love this vehicle!
