Used 2017 Honda CR-V SUV Consumer Reviews
CR-V EX-L = <3
Was in the market for a new smaller SUV & being a newly divorced female after 31 years, wanted something extremely reliable. Did my research online first & having had a couple of Honda Accords in the past, I was familiar with their reliability. I've had my new 2017 CR-V EX-L for a month now & even drove it on a trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama & could not be more pleased with it. It ticks all the boxes: reliable, smooth ride, comfortable, plenty of cargo space. All the bells & whistles being carefully thought out, so the driver can pay attention to driving and enjoy the ride! Got at least 33 mpg on trip. Had read an unfavorable review regarding seats being uncomfortable, but me and my passengers disagree. All seats are very comfortable!

Great vehicle except.....
I traded in my beloved Subaru outback for this vehicle in February 2018. The reason for changing was that I wanted a dealer that was closer to me. All was well for a while but then June 2019 it started having an issue with the safety suite. When I started it all the warning lights would come on and it would not move because it thought the electronic parking brake was engaged. Dealer service department said it must be a dead battery. It was not. But after fooling with the battery cables and the brake we were able to drive it. After a few miles all the warning lights went off. Took it to the dealer and they said nothing was found to be the problem. He said if it happened again have it towed in when it was happening. One week later it happened again. AAA guy came and helped me get it going and I took the car home. The next day it happened again and we had it towed. The dealer kept it for 4 days and replaced the fuel injector. All was well for a while but yesterday it would not start. AAA came and looked at it and said the battery was NOT dead. But when he jumped it it started. Drove it a couple of short trips yesterday but today it is dead again. I give up. The dealer doesn’t want to hear about my complaints, Honda nationwide customer service is uncaring and Honda roadside service wanted $165 to tow it to the dealer while AAA did it for free. (paid for by our plan). I have tried to complain to the service manager but he doesn't respond.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY NEW CR-V EXL AWD
I've had my new 2017 CR-V EXL AWD for one month now. Absolutely love it. I love the new design of the CRV. Very sporty and edgy. Previously I've owned two Honda Pilots since 04 and decided to down size and get better mpg. Recently got 33 mpg on a trip and averaging 25 mpg, with a lot of city driving. Really enjoy driving this vehicle, handles very well. Not going to win any drag races with this CRV, a little sluggish from the start but I knew this going in. Going from my Pilots V6 to this 1.5 four cylinder. Interior is very roomy and luxurious. Considered the RAV4 and Mazda CX5. After a lot of research and reading/video a lot of reviews I went with the CRV. I know I made the right choice. I'm looking forward to owning this vehicle for many years. You can't go wrong with the CRV, it is definitely at the top of it's class. Have owned my CRV-EXL for seven months now. Could not have picked a better vehicle. I still absolutely love this car. Still averaging 25 MPG. Have not had any problems with my CRV. Will go for my first service at 7500 miles. Plenty of cargo room for those vacation trips. Looking forward to seeing how the CRV handles in the snow. Still loving my CRV after 13 months, avg. 27 mpg. No problems in the snow this past winter. One of the best cars I've ever owned It's been one and half years now since buying my 2017 C-RV EXL. Still loving it, everything is going well with it. Would buy it again in a heart beat. Two years plus and have had zero problems with my CRV. It's been almost 4 years and my CRV-EXL is still going strong, The only problem I've had is the original Bridgestone tires didn't last, only 25,000 miles. Replaced with Continental and I can really tell the difference. Other than the tires I've had zero other problems, love it.

2017 Honda CRV EX-L has a mind of its own
Bought this car after owning a 2013 Pilot and wife owns a 2015 CRV. A few of the problems I had were: creaking noise from steering wheel, mirror monitors on both sides would illuminate with no other cars were around, biggest issue was the accident mitigation(auto braking) suddenly came on with no vehicle anywhere around me. Needless to say when you car suddenly brakes for no reason(warm sunny day) that will get your attention. I traded the car in even though I lost a lot of money. I was told by the dealer that there was a TSB (technical service bulletin) out for this issue. I also found the info display hard to navigate, you spend too much time trying to find what you are looking for.

Easy in and out!
Our new CRV is the easiest to get in and out of. Do to two replacement knees and two back fushions surgeries I needed to have a vehicle that was easy to get in and out of. The head and leg room was also needed for me and I got exactly what I was looking for in a new vehicle.
