2nd Engine? Really Honda?
This is the worst car I've ever owned. I never thought in a million years that I'd have to put a new engine in a HONDA, due to a problem they WON'T FIX or RECALL. Getting ready to put another one in the same car for a 2nd time. This is about the excessive oil consumption they refuse to fix. This car has left me stranded more than any 90's car I've owned. Guess they don't make them like they used to. Do yourself a favor & get literally any other car.

Montana 2011 CR-V
Great vehicle for road trips. Very comfortable. Handling is not as tight as I would like it to be. Just OK. Otherwise, it is the second most favorite car I have ever owned. First was a 1963 Austin-Healey I owned when I was 19. It is now about a year since I wrote the above review and the CR-V is still the second most favorite car I have ever owned. But, the older I get (74) the greater the distance grows between the second place CR-V and a 19-year old's beautiful red 1963 Austin-Healey........55 years ago! I guess it is time to be honest and realistic. My 2011 Honda CR-V is the most reliable and practical vehicle I have ever owned. But, reliability and practicality aside, nothing will ever replace the 1963 Austin-Healey I bought when I was nineteen as my all-time favorite driving experience, by far.

Great buy!
Just got this car a month ago. I used to own a Subaru Outback, and wanted something that had a similar cargo capacity, but affordable.. this was it!

Worst vehicle I've ever owned
This vehicle had absolutely no acceleration. I wouldn't care if I was 80 but being in my 40's and driving rush hour traffic it was horrible. There is a glitch in the computer system when slowing down using the brakes there's a long hesitation before being able to accelerate again. Very scaring when all of a sudden you need to speed up to get out of the way. The engine cylinders blew on me with less than 60,000 miles and yes I did take it in regular for maintenance. Lost money trying to get rid of this CR-V. Will never buy a Honda again!!!!

Body Integrity - RUST !!
I would encourage all to check the bottom seal area of the doors for rust. Three weeks ago while while wiping down after a wash I noticed rust on the inside bottom of the back right passenger door. It freaked me out !! HOW ??? Took it the dealer ... it will get repaired next week under warranty (and it should). My car was purchased New Years Eve, 2010. Not sure if I will be keeping it.
