Not In Love With It After 75,000 miles.
After having it for 3 years and 75,000 miles. There are a few things that I really do not like about this car: 1. How Low It Is: Being low is one thing, but when you have every other cars headlights directly in your eyes and reflecting off your side mirrors into your eyes is a huge issue. I feel like your eye level in this car is lined up with every other cars headlights and driving this car down a dark road with traffic coming the other way is straight up blinding. Make sure if you get the sport its raised a little bit. Also not sure if it comes with the more expensive trims, but auto dimming side mirrors would be a great solution if you are going to design a car so low to the ground. 2. Doors are too narrow: I get that its a smaller vehicle, but the most frustrating thing is if you're into buying furniture, there can be more than enough room in the cabin to fit a chair, small desk, etc. , but getting it through those super narrow doors in the back is a no go. I've noticed the newer models arent as narrow, maybe the design team realized this too ? Seats: This car got a good rating in the comfort area, but I don't necessarily agree. I'm on the bigger side but i'm not huge (5'10" 200lbs) and I find it hard to get comfortable after sitting in these seats for more than a half hour. There is no lumbar support and after having it for 3 years, I still cannot find the correct settings for my seat. Technology Issues: I just have little petty issues with apple carplay and android auto that seem to be glitchy and not run the best every here and there. The remote start works when it wants to and it has happened to me multiple times and apparently others where i've left the keys in the car by accident and the car will lock itself with the keys in the car still. I know this isn't 100% the cars fault, but it shouldn't be doing that. Automatic Cruise Control is good, not great. I know its newer technology so I cut it some slack, overall it is a fantastic feature and I used it probably 75% of the time driving. Only complaint I have about it is sometimes even set at 4 car lengths apart, it'll still stop short if everyone ahead does. Kind of defeats the purpose. Also another thing which isn't a big deal but still kind of an annoyance, if set on ACC mode and you also have eco mode on, when accelerating it will still go up to 5000, 6000 RPM. *EDITED* Last thing I wanted to mention that annoys me also is the glove box doesn't have a lock on it, for those who like to added security in case you forget to lock the car, youre beat

2017 civic verses 2019 civic
We had 2017 civic silver plain we traded for a sharp ralley red sport civic one of the show room cars well we've been back and forth to Honda dealership 5 times emissions light came on and we were told by tech that this light comes on when fuel gage goes below half tank he reset it then air pressure light came on all the tires were fine he reset it then emission light came back on with full tank of gas. This car's really sharp but I'm starting to think our 2017 was a better car.

Sporty commuter car
Overall this is a great car. I leased the 2018 over the 2019 strictly based on cost. I wish this vehicle came with a sunroof option and a few more USB ports. Honda really needs to improve their Bluetooth connectivity sound while talking on the telephone.

Excellent car for starters
Completely recommended. Save gas very well. Good acceleration, comfort and space. I don’t like CVT transmitions but this one works better than Toyota... If you’re looking a good, fun and safe car for a new-driver this is the one!
