Used 2002 Honda Civic Hatchback Consumer Reviews
NO MORE SUV'S
i have owned trucks and SUV's my whole life. This is the first car i have bought. I love it. It has a great power band and shifts real easy. I love the styling. The interior is awesome. I'm 6'3" and I fit well. I love the fact that it comes with almost everything. I'm just starting to commute far and the mileage seems to be getting better with each tank. My girlfriend did not like it at first glance. She has a 209HP Dodge Intrepid. After she drove it once, she wants to trade. By the way, I can take the Dodge off the line and definately through corners. Do not pay full price for this. You can get one for under $16000.
tremendous style and acceptable speed
This car catches everyone's eye. Most people can't tell who makes it until they see the emblem. I get compliments all the time. The ergonomics are the best, and the stock racing seats and the rally shifter as well. This car shouts "UNIQUE." It's not the fastest of cars these days...wait for the type-r, but these things can always be changed. Drop in a jdm integra-r engine easily, and turbo-charge, and you can probably start trying to compete with an mitsu evo.

2002 Si 1700 miles
From the time I drove it off the lot this car has been a blast to drive. It is my first car and I am very happy with it. Some people think the exterior looks odd, but the looks grow on you. Everyone loves the inside and the shifter never fails to be noticed. I haven't seen any others around where I live in MA, but I enjoy driving a unique car.
2002 Civic Si
This baby gets some killer gas mileage and it lets you have a great time while its getting it. The sport seats are extremely comfy, although they may be too narrow for you big guys and gals. The shifter throws are short and precise and clutch can be engaged with hardly any effort. Torque is so so (it is a four banger) but it is still enough to merge and pass quickly on the highway. Steering is tight and gives decent feedback.
Rally/Sport yet economical hatchback
Want a car that's fun to drive, but need a functional back seat? You've found it! The new iVtec teamed with the close ratio 5 speed gearbox and the short throw shifter make an awsome combination. The tight European tuned suspension make the car highly responsive and agressive in the turns. Yet, besides myself, I can put 3 Lacrosse players and gear in this thing. The SI handles as well as the RSX Type S. If you must have the 200hp w/6 speed, buy the RSX, or keep the 3K or so and get the SI and get the added economy, I'm getting around 29 mpg and I'm certainly not light on the gas pedal.
