Used 2017 Honda Accord Coupe Consumer Reviews
2017 ACCORD V6 COUPE EXL
Excellent value in my opinion. Honda Reliability, style, price all worth the money. I have owned two Hondas and one Acura and I couldn't be happier with my new purchase. I think if you’re honest with yourself what you're getting for between 25-32K is worth it. I'm sure if you need all the bells and whistles you're probably considering luxury with the luxury price tag and maintinence cost. I'm practical and drive 100miles per day so with that being said I went with coupe V6 because it's usually just me to and from work. I chose V6 over CVT because I like the extra power and don't care for the ticking in the CVT. That being said the coupe is a dieing breed and since this was Honda's last year for the coupe and 6 cylinder, I let go of the 2002 Honda Accod at 250k miles and upgraded. The two screens is a little much, but I love the seat warmers, memory setting, Bluetooth, and a decent sound system. I live in the Bay Area, so mild wheather conditions, but crappy roads, but front wheel drive is sufficient. Gas mileage could be better but at 25mpg, I'll get over it. I wish Honda would stand by their product and offer a better warranty (30k or 3 years) is shameful. I've owned for 6 months and am happy with my purchase. After owning for a year now (16k miles) I’m pretty happy with my Accord excellent ride and good re-sell value. Bluetooth could be better sometimes difficult to hear. Great car for the value. It’s been 3 years now and I am approaching 30k miles...warrant is set to expire this year and I am hoping not to have any issues with it at this point. Quiet ride, nice size for a coupe, rides more like a sedan than sports car. Overall good value. 35k miles and still looks brand new. I am still happy with my purchase.

Good car but Honda can do better
it's a good car but not a great car. There's a lot of nice technological features. The car rides smooth. It's nice looking. Couple issues though. First, the cvt transmission isn't great In city driving. Jerks at low speeds. Car doesn't want to stop easy as there's no downshift. Infotainment is slow responding. Wheels look nice but they stick out from the tire making it easy to get curb rash. Mileage in the city is not good.

In tune with my coupe
I love driving this car. It is stylish, quick and a great ride. I do not understand why there is not more positive noise about this car.

My Coupe
Own the V6 Coupe Auto for 6 months now. Only 4k miles so far and no problems or compliants and gas mpg and power is awesome. Safety technology on this car is great. Little over a year old and still no issues. I actually enjoy driving it and impressed on the mpg and it still smells new and nothing is wearing other than the tires and brakes whick is expected.

2017 ex-l v6 coupe...sweet ride !!
This is my first Honda and i am extremely impressed. I test drove a couple of higher end coupes before test driving this Honda and for the money you can't beat the EX-L. Very sporty and surprisingly QUICK !! With 3 driving options , ECO Drive, Sport mode or Paddle Shifter, this car is a blast to drive. If you like Gadgets this is the car for you, especially with the apple car play !! Two tone leather heated seats is also very comfortable !! Having trouble seeing traffic on the passenger side to switch lanes ? Don't worry , this car has you covered with a passenger side camera mounted under the mirror that shows you the whole right lane !!........I can go on and on, but get out and drive this car,you too will give it a thumbs up !!

The last of the Honda Accord Coupes
This is an excellent find.Almost new Journey series loaded with all extras. It handles well with the non sport suspension and rides well. The navigation touchscreen takes a while to get used to. Great regular gas mileage . Honda sensing a plus.

GPS is useless
2017 Accord. Not a bad car, but the GPS is money thrown away. Spend most of it's time searching for satellites, and when it loses them, your are totally out of luck. Horrible UI.

I love that manual transmission!
This car gets good gas mileage, not great, but with 6 cylinders, what do you want? Just press that gas pedal and off you fly. Passing other cars quickly is fantastic, the car is very eager. My Accord already has over 38,000 miles and not a single issue, just do the maintenance following the owner's manual and you will be OK. I still have the original tires, I replaced the wipers once. Great value for the money.

Great car
With the V-6 300 HP engine, this is a great car. Everything else in true Honda. Fit and finish is outstanding. Love the car.
One of a Kind
Outstanding car. Note two important facts. Honda is no longer building a two door. Also, they no longer make available the V-6. Nothing but four-bangers. Last chance!
My 17 V6 coupe automatic

Honda Touring Model
I liked the 2013 Honda EX-L V-6 Coupe so much, that I bought a 2017 Touring version. Still has the same performance of the 2013, but with a more updated look, and navigation system. Also like that the V-6 has a regular auto-trans and not the CVT, which I thought my 2013 model had, but the V-6 models are all equipped with automatic transmissions. A fun car to drive. UPDATE: I previously owned a 2013 Honda Coupe with a V6, and liked it so much, that I found a newer version of this same car. The 2017 model was the last of the Honda Coupe's, so I purchased one of the few that I could find with low miles. This is a Touring edition with the V6 and automatic transmission. Did not want one of the newer accords with the CVT, or turbo. This car has plenty of get up and go, and still gets an average of 32 MPG. Road noise isn't too bad. I have owned this model for over a year, and I am still pleased with it. There is talk of the Prelude comming back, and would consider one of those, if they start production of them, as I owned a 1988 Prelude in the past.
Better car than I expected
I purchased the 2017, V6, 2 door, manual transmission Honda EX-L in December 2016 in Indianapolis. My prior car was a 2009 Honda Civic, I gave it to my daughter and is still on the road with nearly 300,000 miles. The Accord has nearly 50,000 miles and it still works as the first day. I live in Germany and lots of highways here do not have speed limit. I had to replace the disc brakes because driving at high speeds and breaking suddenly, it caused the car to shake badly, so after replacing the rotors with drilled and slotted rotors, what a difference: no more shaking during panic stops in the highway, I guess the car was manufactured for US roads with maximum speeds of 65 to 75 MPH, here we can legally drive as fast as the car can go, pedal to the metal for long stretches. One item that I am not very happy with the Apple Play, I usually drive with Waze as a GPS and it loses the connection frequently, like every 20 to 30 minutes, usually when you need to see the map on the car display. Another negative comment is that during the first year, the trunk lid would not close as if the car key was left inside the trunk. This event happened about 4 or 5 times. Mechanically the car is sound, durable and a high performer. As far as maintenance, there was a recall that I had to take care of before I shipped to Germany, it was done at the dealer under warranty. Other than that, I perform the maintenance as the car maintenance schedule requires, no extra expenses required for unexpected repairs, except the four brake calipers upgrade. Everything inside works (except Apple Car Play and is not my iPhone nor the iPhone cable), the mirrors, the controls, the seats, nothing has fallen off or shown poor manufacturing. One cool thing is that I get lots of looks as this car is not manufactured for the European market. I am happy with the car overall and it is a pleasure to drive it. We’ll see in 100,000 miles. The car is turning 60,000 miles and I am about to drive from Germany to Southern Spain. I'll report on this after the trip.
