Beyond Satisfaction
It took a total of 25 min. for me to close a deal from the time I walked in the showroom and sat down with Brad Buck at Jenkins & Wynne. The price was below TMV & they got use exactly what we wanted. Plus they threw in the mud guards for free, and gave us the mirror option for cost. I LOVE this car.
Old accord great, New accord even better
Just bought the 2005 accord about 4 months ago. Previously had a 1993 accord that never had any major problems (Typical Honda). The honda is awesome. It has a lot more room and the ride quality is outstanding. Personally i would have perferred the V6, even though 2.4L has plenty of power.
Honda GREAT
Great interior design with LOTS and LOTS of storage, great handling, beautiful front, awesome trunk space, looks very sharp and again a lot of storage GREAT FAMILY CAR WITH A SPORTY FEEL
Great car
This a great car for every day needs. Good relibility and build quality.
Great Value
Bought this car back in Dec of 04. Best value for my money hands down. car is up to 100K miles and drives like its brand new. all systems (electric, sound sun-roof, & leather) work beautify and never had a problem. Passengers and friends don't believe that I have 100K miles or that the car is 4 years old. I highly recommend this vehicle!
Love my new Accord EX V6
On New Year's Eve I purchased a new 2005 Accord EX V6 Sedan. I keep my cars a long time and wanted a car I knew I could count on to last 10 years or more. My first Honda was a new 77 Accord and I have owned several others down through the years with the last one being a new 91 Accord EX Sedan, and each of them was a great car. I selected the Accord because of the high performance V6 engine, the 5 speed automatic and its styling, which is much more attractive to me than the Camry. I have had it 3 months now and I really love it. I can recommend this car without reservation and if you like performance I guarantee you will like having the V6!
My Very First Car
Being 15 1/2 I have been looking for a car that would suit my needs...Ok anything would have been fine I mean driving=freedom but I really wanted something that would be large enough for me not to be cramped in and luxuroius. The Honda Accord EX-L fits my needs, the 160 HP is plenty power for my driving, I took it for a drive down the coast and it handled well in the hilly areas. The quailty of the ride is good from the drives seat but I'n not expecting it to handle my friend's BMW's or Mercedes. The brakes are a bit weak but I adjusted and I'm fine with it. The interior is amazing and is roomy for everyone, this car is extremly safe which makes it a great family sedan, or a teen car.
Honda 2005
I had always been a Ford Mustang GT (fun and sporty) driver, until I decided to try something completely different. I purchased my 2005 vehicle in December of 2004, and couldn't be more pleased. The car is so smooth, I'm speeding before I realize it! It's classy and elegant, but also sporty! There are so many more details to the car, then I could even start to explain. I highly recommend!
The Most Solid 25K Sedan on the Road!
This is my third Accord in 7 years and they still surprise me with innovation and design. Exterior design lacks somewhat, but there are more important things like safety, ride, features for the money and reliability. XM radio is great and all the controls are easy to use and reach. Honda is bar none the best engine builder in the world. This engine is a 3 liter engine and so powerful yet good on gas unless you punch it.
bad mileage very bad mileage
extremely bad mileage...17 miles per gallon...complained to the dealer...they said that it is normal because of the v6 and that the sticker info when you buy a new car (and that advertized the car for 27in the city and 35 on highways) is not established by Honda but by an independent company...so honda has no responsibility...Nice pick-up though, fun to drive but a killer for gaz. Also after a year the leather is already wearing off...it is too thin and dries- up and wrinkle very easily...so my friends...beware and ask the dealer more than a few questions....my feel is that there are going to be a lot of these on the used market very soon..so if you want a v6..get it used!!
Great Value For Ride, Price & Size
Paid $ 17988.00 including destination end of 05 yr. THANK YOU Edmunds for posting the $750.00 roll back to dealer! Gas mileage is kicking in now. Nice drive around town -handles 75mph highway with no problem. Brakes are rated good for disc/drum set/up as well as turns. Road noise does not bother me. All and all this car is almost a #10 for its class.
Honda is not all its cracked up to be
It has a very powerful 240 HP 3.0L v6 but the ride is loud and rough and the EX V6 with Navigation is very Expensive
Honda Owner Since 1995
I have owned 4 Honda's and have enjoyed everyone of them. I currently have a new body style Accord EX-L and a 1992 LX with over 130,000 miles on it. Everything still works and nothing is falling apart. For the money and value you can not get a better car.
Accordingly
I've had my Accord for almost 5 months. I must say that I like the car a lot. It does everything well, but nothing extraordinary. It's peppy, has great looks (inside and out); is comfortable; reliable; great value; but a boring driving experience. It's a perfect car to get you to/from in style, knowing the end result will be a car with great resale value; low insurance costs; good safety record; and very good gas mileage. It's a buy.
Honda Accords
I LOVE THIS CAR! It has everything I was wanting. It drives & rides like a luxury car. The Accord costs a little more than an average car, but after owning one I will never buy anything else. I knew they were awesome looking, but I had no idea what detail they put in to making them.
At end of first 3,000
So far so good. Have also noticed the blind spot in rear, so have to be careful. Everything else is typical Honda, well thought-out and dependable.
A Welcome Change
After many years in a SUV, this was a welcome change!! Nice road handling. Nice acceleration for highway on- ramps! Surprisingly quiet inside. We'll see how it does in the snow...
Great Vehilce
Love the Car!!!!!!!!!!! It has great acceleration and is very fun to drive. This car will easly last you ten years. It is a great family car.
The No problem car with some style
I have had this car - 2.4L 4 cyl 5 spd manual- for 8 months now and over 9000 miles on it. It drives super smooth, nice gear box, no problems yet on any front except the reverse gear being hard to throw into the first 5 months - but now its behaving fine. Excellent interior space utilization by honda. 30 MPG with aggressive driving on city+highway. best acceleration when you keep revs at 3000-4500 rpm. Second gear acceleration is sluggish. Third and 4th gears are the best and you would not really feel the need for the fifth gear. Smooth cruising. this car certainly has the best acceleration you can get from a 4 cyl 160 HP engine. A great, economic all round car for anyone. Strongly recommend
Honda, Honda, Honda
Just got the EX4dr and its great. Quiet, smooth and can get up & Go(for a 4cyl that is). Got for $21,700 out the the door, with the Spoiler w/brake light and a bed liner in the trunk. Can't beat that. The handling on this car is as good as it gets. If choosing between Camry, Accord, or Altima it really a no brainer. Just don't budge on your price at the Dealer. Knowing how good the car is and how bad some people want them they'll take advantage of you. they tried to sale it to me for 23,789 without taxes tag etc. I got it for 21k with tax tag etc included! Worth 21k but not 24,25k.

Quality car you won't regret buying. Fun to drive, quiet, comfortable (although not quite as comfortable as a full-size luxury car), great gas mileage, really nice sound system.
First Car
This is the first car that I own and I must say I'm extremely impressed by it. Very nice interior and roomy as well. Fuel economy is nice as well as the steering. Car looks really nice outside and handles well. Very quiet and picks up speed relatively well.
does your dash rattle too?
I am/always have been a Honda die hard. This is my 7th honda purchase. No better car on the road. but I've had one consistent gripe with the defrost system, inadequate. In the dead of winter you have to turn the a/c to get the windows to clear. I had read a review on the 2004 coupe models where someone complained of a dash rattle....well guess what? I have got a dash rattle.. you pay 25 thousand dollars for a car and the dash rattles??? sonds like the window isn't in tight or something is lose in the dash...unacceptible

Livin' Large on a Moderate Budget
In the 4 months I've my 2005 EX-V6, nothing has gone wrong; no rattles or creaks. Still feels brand new. Serene ride on most surfaces; shockingly fast; very good cornering; most comfortable driver seat I've ever had; great ergonomics; feels luxurious yet sporty-when-pressed. Engine is a marvel, incredibly smooth and responsive. Usually have driven stick; this is a silky, responsive 5 speed auto with grade logic. Fit & finish near perfect; good brakes & better in snow than my previous Jetta 1.8T; good storage; very attractive 2 tone leather and dash; nice vinyl and only a bit of hard plastic; minimal wind noise; road noise on coarse surfaces fairly low. In general, love this car!
My first Honda.......very impressive
I was surprised at the price of the vehicle for all the features it has. I thought for a car like this, I was going to pay $30K. I've always heard about the quality of the car from my friends that own Hondas. I had to go out and buy one for myself to find out. I've owned it for two weeks and I simply love the car. Driving it is so much fun. It's smooth on the road and quiet. Gas mileage is better than I expected. The interior is roomier than I expected. Overall, this car has exceeded my expectations. It's no wonder there are so many of them out on the road. The resale value is better than most cars out on the market.
Good, but not great
Purchased the car after getting a new job and losing my company car, a 2002 Ford Taurus. The Honda is definitely better, but not as much as I expected it to be, especially the build quality. There are already rattles and creaks coming from the interior and the sunroof and the car only has 100 miles on it. Don't get me wrong, the quality is good, I just expected more. Also, not happy with the dealership at all. When I took delivery, the car was not totally clean and there was a ding and scratch in the rear bumper. To get me out of his hair, the salesman told me that if they could not fix the bumper to my satisfaction, they'd replace it completely. We'll see what happens...
Very Pleased
I owned 2 Acura TL's in th epast but didn't want to spend the bucks this time around. I don't feel I made a big sacrifice going with the EX V-6....great value, well appointed.
05 Accord
Since I have had the car,it has been worth every penny. Between the fuel economy and the sporty driving it has been the best car I have ever owned.
the perfect 10
We LOVE our new Honda...we upgraded from a 2003 Accord LX and could not be happier! We have seats that warm and satelite radio! TERRIFIC gas milage as well!
Great Car
This honda has been an answer to my prayers. It has everything you need from looks to luxury. It's interior is really quiet and the ride is very smooth. This vehicle accelerates like a V6 and handles like a sports car. This honda has a V-tec engine unlike its main competition, the toyota camry, which makes the accord accelerate a lot faster than it would without a v-tec engine. This car is really fuel efficient and spacious. What more could I say it's a Honda.
Great Car BUT Still Room For Improvement
I wanted more power so I traded my 2003 Accord EX 4 cyl. w/NAV for a 2005 V-6 EX w/NAV and not much has changed. Build quality is great. The V-6 is quieter than the 4. The 6 feels better on the freeway. The V-6 is getting me right at 30mpg on the freeway. I sacrificed about 5 mpg going from the 4cyl. But its worth it to me. I appreciate the Side and Curtain Airbags for 2005, as well as the lighted steering wheel. The 05 NAV added more voice commands than the 2003 NAV. Honda also improved the User Interface and added new features to make already the best NAV on the market even better (Acura/Honda same NAV).
worth the wait
Just picked up my Accord yesterday and I am very happy with my choice. I had owned a Subaru WRX and was going to get another Subaru, but for the value, features, performance and reliability, you just can't beat the Accord. I got a great deal on an 05 with nav (it was the last one at this particular dealership) and it was a great snag. I'll miss the AWD of the Subaru but I'm glad I chose the V6 over the turbo 4.
Awsome Car
This car is great, if anyone is thinking of buying a great car that's reliable and reasonble priced, you should think about buying a Honda Accord because it's know for it's great reliability and also it won't depreciate it's value like domestic cars and for a 2.4 Liter 4 Cylinders that produce 160 HPs and 161 pound/FT. torque it's very fast and fun to drive.
NICE
THIS CAR IS AWESOME....YOU GOTTA GET IT....Dont waste ur money on that american auto crap...its all about teh japaneese reliablity and quality....this car is real quick too...i took it out on teh road with a stop watch...0-60 mph is exactly 6.0 secs, real nice for the v6...ACCORD!!!!
Sound Buy
This is the third Honda Accord I have owned. I find the car to be very well built and reliable. Perhaps the auto could be a little higher off the ground to enable more view. Also I feel the head lights should have a sensor and please put heated seats in the rear.
Fun to drive but poor NVH
Got this car for 4 years now with 96,000 KM in the odometer. During warranty period, need to send back to the service center to change the cock-up alarm system and steering system. Annoyed with loud engine noise, wind noise and tyre noise. Also the suspension system is rather too firm for my liking. Road undulations, tyre and outside noise creep into the cabin. The overall NVH left much to be desired. Engine noise is so annoying that I have to add fuel additive to reduce noise. It helps, believe me. No qualm on the handling aspect. The fun factor somewhat offset the poor NVH and refinement, I guess.
7th Honda and still going strong
A pure pleasure to drive. Great handling and brakes. Interior is much improved over 2002. Acceleration also much improved over 2002 and the entire drivetrain is silky smooth.
I LOVE my Honda
I've made three payments on this car and it's the first time in my life that I don't mind writing out a check! The UMF suprises me--sometimes it seems like my car just wants to get up and go (lots of power for a 4 cyl.). It's very stylish and it looks like I paid alot for this car but I didn't. I was blessed to pay $19,990 for this car + TTL. Very affordable. Unfortunately some dummy in a 1980 Toyota rear-ended me last month (ouch!) but my bumper did what it was supposed to do and my car is back to the war it looked-- beautiful! I recommend this car to anyone who enjoys driving a sedan.
First Honda
After comparing cars in the same class I chose a Honda, and I am very happy with my choice. I like the way it handle and the v6 is very quick when you need the power. MY MILEAGE IS NOT THAT GREAT. My average is about 24 miles to a gallon hi-way only.
No surprises!
No surprises as it's an Accord. There is a reason why you see so many of these out there - great car for the price (well under MSRP). Don't recommend Ed Voyles Honda - they sold us a demo (4K miles) in which we found paperwork in the glovebox as we were leaving the lot that was for bodywork from an accident! ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE! Dealer made it right by offering us an identical brand new Accord for same price (under $21K) but what if that paperwork had not been in glove box? Great car, great 5-speed auto trans, nice interior. Gas mileage very good, and maintenance costs should be very low, but will NEVER return to this dealer - Ed Voyles Marietta.
05 Accord V6
Bought this vehicle to take a six week trip across the country. Went in the middle of August and returned the end of September. This vehicle was so comfortable we never were tired even after logging 900 miles in one day. Also, the V6 performed admirably and we averaged just over 30 mpg for the entire trip of 9,000 miles. At one point in South Dakota while using the cruise control (@75mph) we averaged 34 mpg. This is a beautiful car in every aspect and really fun to drive.
The First Honda
Just purchased the vehicle and decided to break it fast (fast at startups, etc.)in order to get a faster car. It worked fine with all the Toyotas I owned, and appears to do the same with this one. This is contrary to what is being recommended by Honda, s-l-o-w starts and no acceleration the first few hundred miles. I like the the stiff suspension and very tight steering feel. The car came with 27 lbs. of pressure in the Michelins, which was raised to 32 and 30 respectively to improve the handling. Pretty solid all around handling car. Time will tell if I decide to keep it for a longer haul.
4 cylinder i-vtec Accord (Leather)
After the first 500 miles I noticed a squeak in the dashboard. I'm now at 1500 miles and the noise has ceased for about 450 miles. The only other negative thing with the 4 cylinder is it's slightly (and I mean slightly) rough warming up in the morning. After it's warm though it's silky smooth. There was the Nissan Maximas 6 cylinders tradeoff for the 4 cylinder Accord.(We all know Gas Prices are outrageous). But so far I'm very pleased.
The best car that I ever purchased.
I've purchased four honda's prior to buying the Accord EXL, and each one had there own special touch to them. But what makes the Accord EXL unique is when I take a road trip. There is nothing like it, I mean its like you're dreaming. You can't feel the road or hear the vehicle when its going down the highway. Thank God for XM radio, because it makes all the difference when you can't decide which CD to listen to.
Questionable Build Quality
Needed a new commuter car and decided to skip the Civic for the Accord Value Package. Great looks, great standard features, etc... Was very disappointed that the windshield glass had distortion in it and creates a 'wavey' effect as you drive. I also went to open the trunk for the first time and the lock fell out the back! The car also came with missing paint on the driver's door edge and a poorly done cover-up job of previous scraping. It's currently at the dealer for repair, but I'm not sure they'll fix the glass issue since it's not obvious when you're not moving. Hopefully this was an anomoly and the rest of the car is solid as historical Accords.
Ford Expedition Rear Impact
I was driving north in commuting traffic in a.m. on the Garden State Parkway in the far left lane of the "Express Lanes" when traffic suddenly came to a halt. I barely missed hitting the car in front of me (who also missed hitting the car in front of them, & so on). Simultaneously, the car in front then changed to the right middle lane;in my rear view mirror an SUV behind me who could not stop in time. My vehicle was pushed into the left side guard rail, bounced off; spun around; crossed over 2 lanes to the right plus an exit lane; across the snow covered grass median & landed in the middle of the "Local Lanes". I walked out of my totalled car; the SUV driver: a broken hand an SUV totalled!
best car i have owned
I have previously owned Toyota, Chevy, Infiniti, and Nissan, this Honda Accord is simply the best! I love driving it, I have the leather seats and all the bells and whistles. It handles great in snow. Lots of safety features too.
Crummy Paint
I am surprised to find out that the white Honda Accord that I purchased has only two coats of paint on it. It does not have the clear coat because it is white. A small pebble apparently hit the hood. Now it has to be painted. I have two places on the rear bumper that the paint scrapped off while the car was at the airport. A Honda dealer while I was on vacation told me about the paint. I have never had a car that has paint that just flakes off. What can I do? I bought this beast in Sept 2004. It is a 2005 model. I wish I had never even seen this car. It has a high pitch whine from the front. The first 100 mile trip I went on there was a constant flapping sound from toward the front.
safe car
Was hit in right front by driver passing light. Airbag (side and seat) deployed perfectly. No significant injury in hard hit. Happy to have the side airbags. Very user friendly and ergonomic controls, best I have ever had. Stiff ride, could be a bit lighter sprung for comfort, but may impede handling. Has a "big" feel, not a sporty small car feel. 5 speed is not smooth, and downshifts when braking are noticeable. Air comes on with a clunk when first put on. Brakes are feathery and needs a light touch, same with accelerator, but stops and goes well. Acceleration is very good with automatic, highway ride is smooth and sure footed.
