Used 2004 Honda Accord Consumer Reviews
Reliability?
I bought this car largely because of perceived perceptions on Honda's reliability. Just after 36,000 miles, my radio console lost power. I took it back to the dealership and fortunately Honda payed full cost for the repair because other Hondas were had the same problem. At 91,629 miles my transmission failed without warning. I called Honda corporate to complain, and was given a case no. Took it to the dealership and Honda agreed to pay for half the cost to replace the transmission which was $1725. Honda provided a new 3 year/36000 mile warranty. I am very glad Honda helped with these problems, but these are not problems I would expect from a Honda.
The EX V6 offers nothing less than
a Lexus ES330 and is costing $7000 less. This is the car for people like me who is pragmatic and does not care much about showing off with a lexus name.

HONDA ACCORD
I WAS PREVIOUSLY IN A V-6 2000 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX. I THOUGHT MY CAR DROVE ADEQUATELY UNTIL I GOT INTO THE 2004 HONDA ACCORD. THIS CAR HAS A LOT OF "GET UP" FOR A 4 CYLINDER AUTOMATIC!!! IT RIDES COMFORTABLY AND SMOOTH WITHOUT ALL THE ROAD NOISE. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS VEHICLE! WITH THE AWESOME AERODYNAMICS INTERIORLY AND THE SLEEKNESS OF THE EXTERIOR, YOU CAN'T BEAT IT FOR THE AFFORDABLE PRICE!!!!
Best on the Lot
I started out with my basic needs, a good sized family car, reliable and stylish. Was contemplating between Nissan Altima 2.5s and Honda accord. This model of accord had better features than Altima with Added features and costed the same. But Accord is so smooth and has perfect handling. With a good resale value and ratings Accord was the final choice.
Another winner
This is my 9th Honda and they just keep getting them faster, more comfortable, thriftier and overall nicer! What more can you ask for from a car or its manufacturer?
