GMC Yukon XL Denali 2017

My family and I purchased the GMC Yukon XL Denali thinking it would be a good vehicle for the family. We could not have been more wrong. We have owned this vehicle for a little over 4 years now. We have had to replace both rear struts once. That cost us $2,000. We have had to replace the front struts twice. That is about $3,600 in front struts. GM refuses to help us and to fix the problem that is clearly due to their error. Did I mention my front struts are now locked up again and needing to be replaced for a third time? Do not buy a Yukon, run for the hills. It's unfortunate for my family that we had to learn the hard way. I grew up with a father that swore by GM products. But after seeing how they treat us as loyal customers for over 40 years we will never buy another vehicle from them again.

So sad and disappointed

When I first purchased my car, I loved it, but unfortunately before I even hit 70,000 miles, I’ve already had the fuel injection system fully replaced, tons of electrical issues and now have to have the lift valves replaced, which is a $6000 job. There’s also been a problem with the paint which I guess was a part ofa five-year window where GMC and other Brands were putting out cars with faulty paint, had to have it repainted. There are so many problems for a car that has been serviced regularly by the dealer. Not worth the monthly

Pretty Little Princess

Recently purchased the princess. I’m not a car geek, just a mom who wanted a bigger vehicle that would fit 2 people and 2 Labradors and comfortably get us up north. It’s like my living room has been transformed into a vehicle. It’s so comfortable, so quiet, so smooth, so beautiful. It’s everything you could ever want if you need to go far with lots of room. I will never own a black interior again in my life. She has a tan interior which is cool in the summer. People can find fault with any vehicle but as far as I’m concerned it’s the nicest vehicle I’ve ever owned. I just feel so safe driving her up Highway 11 into two lane north country. (Ontario). But most importantly, my dogs love it. I will drive Yukons until they take my away my license and stick me in a home!!

Watch for electrical issues

1st I really enjoyed this vehicle, loaded up family, carry extra kids, drop seats and carry plenty of storage. Internment problems with various electronic functions not working. Then at 37000 miles became more frequent. Finally after 38000 dead in water, no response to key fob, not start, three times in three months, dug around fuses, would come right back, Finally disconnected the loose negative cable and still concerned. Enjoyed but worried when would be next time it would die.
