Used 2017 GMC Yukon SUV Consumer Reviews
Bad Decision
Bought a used 2017 Yukon Denali with 100,000 miles. It now has 108,000 miles. Owned for 6 months now and already replaced the shocks and electromagnetic strut system, $1300. Then the transmission itself, Rebuilt because they cannot get a new one in for months $5100, along with sensors before that trying to fix the problem $900. After that a $200 battery. To fix an issue of the whole engine going crazy. Now I have to have new brake pads and rotors. What the Hell GM. Thanks to the government for trying to squeeze more mileage out of a beast of an engine and to leasing a carbon footprint on the environment has been defeated. I wish I would’ve never bought this vehicle. As soon as I can trade it or sell it, it will be gone. 8 speed transmission. Bring back the 6 speed and quit being stupid. Bought in 4/1/21. Review done in 11/7/21

GMC Yukon XL Denali 2017
My family and I purchased the GMC Yukon XL Denali thinking it would be a good vehicle for the family. We could not have been more wrong. We have owned this vehicle for a little over 4 years now. We have had to replace both rear struts once. That cost us $2,000. We have had to replace the front struts twice. That is about $3,600 in front struts. GM refuses to help us and to fix the problem that is clearly due to their error. Did I mention my front struts are now locked up again and needing to be replaced for a third time? Do not buy a Yukon, run for the hills. It's unfortunate for my family that we had to learn the hard way. I grew up with a father that swore by GM products. But after seeing how they treat us as loyal customers for over 40 years we will never buy another vehicle from them again.

So sad and disappointed
When I first purchased my car, I loved it, but unfortunately before I even hit 70,000 miles, I’ve already had the fuel injection system fully replaced, tons of electrical issues and now have to have the lift valves replaced, which is a $6000 job. There’s also been a problem with the paint which I guess was a part ofa five-year window where GMC and other Brands were putting out cars with faulty paint, had to have it repainted. There are so many problems for a car that has been serviced regularly by the dealer. Not worth the monthly

Comfy and capable
Owned this suv for almost 7 years now and it is my favorite suv yet. Love the comfy leather seats with heat/cool functions, as well as the smooth ride. Only gripe is the two recalls (brakes and 4wd pull). Neither impacted my car but I had to go through the hassle of scheduling the repair.
