My dream truck
My truck has 115K miles on it and looks/runs like brand new ! the GMC's in this series does not show their age. Very comfortable ! I have the 5.3 and i am getting an average of 23 MPG !

Failed lifter
2018 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali 6.2 Cylinder 5 lifter got stuck. This is a non DoD lifter btw. Don't have a clue of why a non DOD lifter would get stuck? This lifter should always be active. Damage cam and lifter bore, to a longer story short. This is my 2nd Rebuild on this engine. It's really pathetic the GM is not doing much about This! My recommendations are stay away from purchasing unless you plan to have the lifers replaced with LS7 lifters and deleting the DOD system and have it removed from the PCM. !!! I must say the obd port kits sold online that claims to disabled it... DON'T WORK!!!
