Ive been a plumbing contractor for 12 years, the greatest mistake i made in 2015 was to buy a ford transit high roof . I istalled expensive custom ranger shelves for 6,500. On the road for two months with 3,237 miles the transmission crushed, was in the dealership for over two months, couldn't fix the dam truck. I requested for a buy back which lasted for over four months , finally ford could not even refunt me for the custom shelves even the alar and tint. I want to help someone who might be in a position ti but tjis truck PLEASE DONT !!! I dont want anyone to be in the same predicament as i was ..... SPR. Inc

"Bought new but it seems the van is Always in the dealers. So far the instruments, rear axle, EGR, rear brakes twice, head gasket have been repaired or replaced. Right now it is at the dealers for major oil leak and loss of power plus it has transmission issues which as usual the dealer says it's fine, I guess it is until it gets returned by Ford roadside recovery again. As I wright this I have not had any use of my Transit for over 6 weeks and the dealer does not call to let me know whats happening I have to call them and as usual get the story about waiting for Ford technical service to look at it. I have lost all confidence in this vehicle to take care of our daily deliveries. I bought the Transit 350T Powerstroke because I wanted a reliable and economical delivery vehicle which it was for the first few months but now its is less reliable than our old Ford box truck it replaced, worst van ever and a waste of money, Buyers beware." I had an Econoline 250 for the last 7 years with 240K miles, and never had a wrench in the engine. So when I totaled it, and the time came to purchase something new, I decided (after considering another '14 E-250) on a '15 Transit. As far as the handling, steering, braking, and rigidity of the vehicle, it's head and shoulders above the Econoline. I suppose only time will tell if I have the same good fortune with the engine as I had with the E-250. The only couple gripes I have with this new vehicle are minor. There's no cruise control. I do a lot of highway driving, and used it all the time in the E-250. The lack of downward tilt on the steering wheel lends to an uncomfortable position for your arm(s) while driving. There's no auto-up feature for the driver's window.
