Used 2011 Ford Taurus SEL 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 6A) Consumer Reviews
Comfort, space, and quality. What's not to love?
The 2011 Ford Taurus has proven to be incredibly reliable, easy and inexpensive to service, and has a spacious and comfortable ride. The interior is well laid out and easy to reach. Seats 5 full-grown adults adequately and 4 quite comfortably. The trunk is mammoth and yet it also has fold-down rear seats when you need even more space. After two years and 50,000 miles we are still in love with this car. Now, every vehicle has its down-sides and this is no exception. The SYNC bluetooth from 2011 is, honestly, a hot mess. We have had to reset it several times after it locked up and stopped working but it also has a primary and secondary phone protocol and will effectively only allow one to connect at a time. Even my 15 year old $20 car bluetooth speaker phone allows 2 phones to connect simultaneously. Oddly this particular Taurus came with no cup holders up front, only console pockets that we had to buy cup holders to fit at an $80 cost .... While the ride is relatively smooth, it is a bit noisy for a full size sedan.
